  • Incredibly sturdy and versatile.
Color: Blue Style: Trumpet Case
I own two Stomvi trumpets. One Bb and one piccolo. They both have brass and silver interchangeable bells. Ghe "three trumpet case" allow each horn to occupy 1 of 3 slots. The third slot I adapted with supplied pads to house both aadditional bells. It came with a pouch for 3 mouthpieces, but will all three slots occupied it was too large to safely place in one of the slots. I bought three protec neoprene single mouth piece cases in different colors. It is easy to slip each one in a slot with horns and no fear of dents. I have owned many cases through my 50 years playing, all Protec. The others have been fabric cover wood frame. I love this hard shell. I wish it came with a look. Otherwise I love this case. ... show more

  • Sturdy case, but small.
Color: Black Style: Trumpet Case
Nice and good quality case , but the size is too small for 3 horns. Have to return it.

  • Great if you get rid of the straps they send with it
Color: Black Style: Trumpet Case
This case is awesome and I am happy with the construction. The adjustable padding keeps the horns in place (I have Bb, C, piccolo) and also has room for the mouthpiece pouch that comes with it, another mouthpiece pouch, my extra piccolo lead pipe bag, and my practice mute. The music pouch is also great. One down side is the 'backpack' straps they send, which are really two shoulder straps. I bought some nice rugged backpack straps here on amazon that make the case feel super lightweight on my shoulders. If you get this, ditch the shoulder straps and buy real backpack straps as it makes all the difference. ... show more

  • Not as easy as it sounds....
Color: Blue Style: Trumpet Case
I’ve found it "challenging” to get my trumpet and flugelhorn in the case in such a way that the flugelhorn does not slide unde the protective divider and damage my trumpet. I have landed upon placing the 2nd divider at a right angle to its intended position - underneath then over the flugelhorn to prevent this submarine effect. Still, I can find no solution to the valves on the flugelhorn being partially to totally compressed - which I find undesirable. A great product improvement would be to simply add some anchoring Velcro tabs to the bottom of the dividers. All that said, I like getting both horns in the same case. The mutes are carried in a separate bag (unused insulated lunch bag) whose handle slides right onto the extended handle of this ROLLING case. I now have both horns in a protective case that’s lighter than the original 45 year old Getzen trumpet case. YIPPEEEEE!!! ... show more

  • Great, compact trumpet case
Color: Blue Style: Trumpet Case
Fantastic case! Semi-hard shell is sturdy enough (not necessarily something I’d want to check on an airplane, but fine for stashing in an overhead compartment). Other double/triple cases I tried were cumbersome or heavy. This one is lightweight and compact - exactly what I wanted and needed. Two thumbs up!! ... show more

  • Flawed Concept, Cheaply Implemented
Color: Black Style: Trumpet Case
Your trumpets deserve better. The idea of a wheeled case with both a telescoping top handle, and a side carry handle is great. However, taking a flimsy box and placing unstable and flimsy dividers inside it makes for a completely unacceptable multi-trumpet case to carry $7,000 - $10,000 worth of instruments in safely. Protec should be embarrassed. This product shows a shameless commitment to the "cheap as we can make it" school as I have ever seen. The external "shell" is made to look like hard-shell luggage, but it is so flexible as to provide nearly zero protection from deformation. A relatively minor collision with a hard surface could expose the contents to major damage. The handle is a piece of vinyl, "secured" to the case with a couple of tiny rivets. The real mischief is inside the shell. You are given two very, soft and flexible dividers to place between your instruments. They are secured to the ends of the case via velcro. I wouldn't rely in these to stay attached to the ends. However, that is not the problem. they may shift up or down, allowing your instruments to impact each other. The lid above the trumps is delivered with a set of movable padded cubes to prevent shifting from resulting in an instrument impacting the lid. they are also attached via velcro. That attachment didn't seem solid, introducing another damage vector, although minor compared to the dividers and shell. Let me to very clear to the vendor: this product is an obvious attempt to deliver a product that comes nowhere near to accomplishing the purpose your customers would purchase it for. Gig bags can be sold as flimsy as you can make. They aren't for protection. If you call something a "case", it is expected to be durable and stable enough to protect the instruments contained therein from damage from normal moving around, and minor drops and bumps (and maybe being placed in an overhead bin on an aircraft). That normally wouldn't include checked luggage. That isn't reasonable. Your case places instruments at risk under any of those circumstances. Beyond that, putting a thin vinyl strap on the side, and calling it a handle is an insult to your customers. Was it not worth the three dollars to create real handle on this product? Was it not worth the five dollars to make the external shell provide some protection? Could you not make the internals solid enough to stand up to even casual movement of the case? As you chose not to do those things, I need to tell people to avoid this product at all costs. It is unusable - at any price. ... show more

This is the best trumpet case on wheels! Easily fits in the overhead of a small airplane.
