I initially bought a little bit bigger screen for presenting a Motorcycle Awareness class. That bigger screen used a frame you had to put together...it took so much room to assemble, and you take the chance of getting the screen dirty everytime you assembly or disassemble. It did pack into a small duffle bag and was easy to transport. This screen takes about 4 mins to set up. You just unfold the legs of the stand and attach the retractable screen assemble to the stand via a quick disconnect. Extend the screen and adjust to the height you want. The only down side is since it's all assembled, the length makes it difficult to transport in a car. I have a truck so it's not a problem. The screen is excellent, my presentation videos are projected pretty clear and bright. Since the screen is retractable, it stays wrinkle free. The stand and retractable screen assembly seem pretty durable and I don't foresee any issies. I only use it inside and it's pretty sturdy even with an AC vent blowing on it. Let me start by telling you I had purchased 4 other screens and also the blow up screen all junk, all returned. All of them were fabric, most with great reviews (I don’t know how) being that the picture shines right through to whatever background is behind the screen. I had purchased an expensive projector so having a great picture was a must for me. It was clear to me that a non fabric screen with a BLACK backing was also a MUST! Also, if you will be using it outdoors like myself in an open area that is exposed to the elements, the portability is PERFECT. So easy to put up, take down and store. Now about this screen. The real projection screens were all very expensive so when I came across this screen for the amazingly low price that it was, I was a little leery but decided to order it anyway. I was beyond shocked the second it arrived as the packaging was bulletproof. After opening It I was AMAZED at the heavy duty quality of the metal casing. Of course I had to try it out immediately, it took about 3 min to set up and the quality of the screen itself was extremely well made. Now it’s movie time and all I can say is that the picture looks AMAZING!!! The clarity, the colors, etc were crystal clear. I FINALLY found my screen and at half the price of most others. You NEED to know that buying a quality screen is just as IMPORTANT as buying the projector itself!!!I had mistakenly thought if I bought an expensive projector that it would look good on any screen..WRONG! So obviously as you can see, I am THRILLED with this screen and if you are thinking of purchasing it, DON’T hesitate for a minute! ... show more

I bought this screen to watch some old 8mm family movies that I inherited. It works great and I am quite happy with it. It's easy to set up and easy to transport. It's well constructed and wrinkle free. I bought the 16:9 aspect ratio so I can also use it for modern wide screen applications. I bought a projector and needed a screen. After hours of reviewing possibilities, I chose the 84 inch diagonal 16:9 with tripod stand from PropVue. I am very happy with the ease with which it sets up, the quality of materials and the stability of the tripod. One of the features I value is the fact that you can adjust the height of the screen easily to any position. This is important in order to adjust the level of the projector to conform to the screen so you don’t have to adjust for keyhole effect, which distorts the image no matter how you do it. The screen is on the heavy side, exactly what you want to increase stability. It also comes with a cloth storage bag. One problem I had was that the screen sustained minor damage in shipping, to the end cap. This doesn’t affect the integrity of the screen and is in no way the fault of PropVue. As a matter of fact I have rarely received a product that was as well packaged as this. It was protected on both ends by heavy fitted foam, and surrounded with tubular air pockets; really cool shipping solution. In going through a number of shipping hubs someone probably banged the end against something, resulting in the damage to the end cap. Considering that the packaged unit is in a narrow box that is 82 inches long and was received December 22 during the height of the shipping season, it is not surprising. I was very happily surprised at the fast response I received from the guys at PropVue. I sent them an email and received a response the same day. We resolved the issue in a few days, and over the Christmas holidays. I think if you are planning to buy the 100inch screen I would definitely wait for a slower shipping time to reduce the possibility of damage. I highly recommend buying screens from these guys and contacting them directly with any questions or concerns. ... show more

Size: 60 Inch 16:9 Aspect Ratio Color: Black
We chose the 60 inch which pairs nicely with common TV sizes for a second screen during games and not too large. It seems good for a porch and small group, although probably small for a larger group. We decided on this size as it’s about 50 inches long packed and we felt we could still easily transport it in a car and we are pleased with the size for our expected use. We felt it would get used more if portable and it is with kids taking to friends to watch two games at once. The quality appears very good for this price point and the screen is clearly several layers thick. The black legs and cylinder tend to blend with the black border these all have so we like the color. The cylinder roll is a little larger and heavier than other options but it clearly protects the screen and we have no wrinkles like some. And the packaging was excellent both inside and outside the box. I am sold on this brand. ... show more

Screen slipped off roller, difficult to get it back in on. Not good in the wind outside. Nice size, easy to set up, but it is a little awkward to carry because it is so long.
