The projector is extremely portable and easy to use. I use it with my own tripod (the mounting hole on the bottom of the projector is not deep enough for the standard mounting screw but it can easily be adapted with an small washer or other material to take up the excess depth). What I like the most is how easy it is to turn on and off (just one button press). I was surprised that it doesn't need any cool-down once you are done with it, like the old-school projectors, but that's possibly because the lamp is of a different kind? I almost exclusively use it in HDMI mode and just connect my chromecast dongle as you can see in the picture (you can use it at home on wifi, or on the go, by making a hotspot with your cellphone). I wasn't able to use the various screen mirroring features (possibly because my modern android phone doesn't support anything other than casting) but that's not really what I bought it for (If you need it for work, I did cast a Chrome Tab running a Google Meet video-call from my Chromebook onto the Chromecast dongle and it worked fine using the projector speaker and putting up the video-call on the wall). My daughter uses it in her room to watch movies projected onto the ceiling. By pairing it up with a decent-sounding battery-operated bluetooth speaker paired to the projector, the end experience is extremely good (the internal audio is significantly stronger than a cellphone so that's also an option if you want to keep the setup to a minimum). The image is adequate in resolution and gets very sharp if you fine-tune the focus setting using the side wheel. All in all I'd definitely recommend this for using around the house in places where you can't get a TV, but also when you are gathering together somewhere outdoors and want portability. The case to carry it is nice looking but much bigger than the device as it contains the remote, the mini-tripod and some wiring. Not a big deal but I would've expected it to be smaller. I used it mostly plugged in but when I tried it out on battery I felt the drop in charge for the minutes I kept it on made it realistic to watch an entire movie on battery. One experiment I have not done yet is to power the Chromecast dongle from the available USB port: that would make the whole setup simpler. Lastly, the brightness of the lamp is more than enough to make it usable even when the room has some light on. I was able to project a good 30" image from about 3 feet away on my kitchen wall right at lunch time, so, I'd say it's plenty bright actually. This projector is amazing! The image is clear and the bulb is very bright. This thing will connect to ANYTHING: windows, android, airplay, hdmi, USB, Wifi, Bluetooth. For IOS users, one of the cool features is you can plug an iPhone directly into the projector with an official Apple lightning cable and it’ll cast it as well. The auto keystone feature takes away the tediousness of trying to adjust the image. You can adjust the brightness and the type of projection (rear, ceiling, front, etc). You can also change the image size itself so you’re not there trying to move the perfect distance from the screen. The focus is easy as pie with a dial on the side. It also has an aux port for speakers. The remote controller is cool but i do wish certain features were accessible via the remote like Bluetooth, image size, and brightness. Love the lightweight and compactness of the projector. I have not used it for the intended and upcoming family movie night yet, but from what I’ve seen so far this is a keeper. I love the convenient bag that fits all the accessories including a tripod. I charged it up after receiving and played it against a blank bedroom wall to see and tinker with the different features. Camera easily screened through my wireless WiFi to both my IPad and IPhone. Have not tried it with my Fire Stick yet, but will before our movie night. We purchased this for our RV for night viewing, but works great during day with shades shut as well. It is mounted under an upper cabinet with a small footprint. We Bluetooth to a soundbar speaker for theater experience. Plug in our firestick to stream, Amazon, Netflix etc. We hot spot with my cell phone when no wifi is available and or plug in our DVD player. We could also use it outside and night since it is battery powered, but we keep it plugged in inside while in use. It also comes with a nice storage case. I love the size of this projector, it was exactly what we were looking for to use in our camper. I would say the picture quality is good, not great. But you get what you pay for and I didn't want to spend upwards of $400 on a projector. Haven't figured out how to wirelessly stream netlfix or peacock from my phone, but have been able to when the phone is plugged in. Overall it is great for what I need it for. ... show more
