These are really great looking once installed. Tried with a couple different bulb and ended up with a more decorative style, they allow a lot of light and look great in the hallway. First of all I am "reasonably good" when it comes to projects like this. Second, I installed a 6 light overhead the day before that was a snap to install. This thing was not. The frame to hold the light DID NOT line up with the screws in the junction box. Took some work to mount it and get everything to fit. MAYBE the fault of the box. The grand finale was trying to get the holes on the lamp base to align with the screws to hold the light. I finally mad the holes bigger in order to find the screws. This was no fun. The light is very nice, matches the 6 bulb light over the table but took twice as long to install. Get a good nights sleep and get your wife or husband out of the house before the install.
