It’s the cheapest tenor saxophone on Amazon, so I bought it to show my kids at the elementary school I teach at. Tell me why the instrument did not PLAY upon arrival??? Turns out, the octave key was poorly BUILT to where it didn’t work the way the factory sent it…. Everything else was perfectly fine. Keywork was ok, color was nice, keys have a nice, standard ‘saxophony’ feel and play nicely. LUCKILY I have a woodwind repair tech friend who fixed it at his house for me. Praise God. Otherwise, I would have sent it right back!! I’m keeping it for now. (It’s SOMETHING to play on and despite having to get a repair on it straight out of the factory, it does indeed play.) I’ve bought a Yamaha mouthpiece and vandoren reeds. We will see what that does to the sound. If I can upload a video later I will. ... show more
