I wanted a cheap stereo board with a couple channels mainly for multi tracking, love my tascam 008 but just need more inputs. Musts included pan and 3 band eq's on sliders, dual sliders or balance knob on outs (not as common as I thought on budget boards) and 5 or more band eq on main. Haven't really set up yet but I played guitar through some stereo effects and it sounds good. And looks like its what I wanted. Haven't listened to the effects with headphones but quickly cycled through them and they work ok. For me I'm mostly using pedals anyways. Perfect for a home recording or practice room. But I don't think I would use it somewhere it could get roughed up. Metal body and 12v power. Sliders feel good and knobs work fine. They don't feel fragile but I wouldn't let heavy handed friends play with them. (Yes Dave I mean you) Manual is a bit ****** up until you realize it's for like 6 models, and the mode/repeat buttons are backwards, that one took me a few minutes lol. No biggie for me as I will almost never use BT or mp3. All in all it works well and at the time I got it there was a coupon/sale so it's worth it to me. I would give it 5 but we have to play with it a bit first and see how it hold up. Comparably alot of boards in this price range seems to have less physical features and more digital gimmicks ( like 99 cheap sounding effects yay!) personally I would prefer the board do as little as possible outside of "mixing the signal" like it's supposed to. ... show more
