Features

  • ISOLATE BLEND - Scientific studies have shown that a blend is considerably better for maximizing muscle-build than standard whey protein alone, this blend contains whey protein isolate, micellar casein, milk protein isolate, and egg white protein.
  • GREAT TASTE - No other protein powder surpasses the great taste, texture, and nutrition of Pro JYM. Simply mix with water, milk, almond milk or add other ingredients for a delicious high protein shake or smoothie. It also comes in vanilla.
  • PERFECT RATIO - Pro JYM contains the clinically tested ideal ratio of the three optimum proteins for building muscle: 50% casein, 40% whey and 10% egg protein. For both men & women, this blend supports your natural strength, energy, endurance & recovery.
  • NO SPIKING - Pro JYM does not include cheap amino acids that can lead to protein spiking. Each serving contains 24 grams of whole proteins, it is optimal for lean muscle growth, as a higher percentage of calories are derived from the protein.
  • VERSATILE USE - The Pro powder is the best before & after workouts, in the morning, between meals and at night. The blend of fast, medium and slow digesting proteins elevates muscle protein synthesis for longer and supports rebuild.

Description

About the Pro JYM Protein Powder: Supported Goals: Muscle - Growth - Strength. What It Is: The perfect blend of three of the most effective types of proteins for building muscle: whey, micellar casein, and egg protein. The three types of protein are absorbed in the body at varying rates of speed – whey extremely fast, casein very slowly, and egg at a “medium” pace. This is exactly how you want your protein to act both before and after workouts to ensure that the muscles get an immediate supply of amino acids (the building blocks of protein) as well as a steady trickle of them in the hours following. Research now suggests that when you add medium-digesting and slow-digesting proteins to fast-digesting whey, muscle protein synthesis remains elevated for longer than when using whey alone. And muscle protein retention is higher, as well. That means that more protein is being built in the muscle. That is what may help lead to long-term gains in muscle growth and strength. What Sets It Apart: Aside from being a protein blend in a crowded market of sometimes underperforming 100% whey protein powders, Pro JYM is also a non-proprietary blend. A proprietary blend is any supplement that doesn't list the precise amount of every single active ingredient it contains. This isn’t just prevalent with pre-workouts and fat-burners – a lot of protein powders on the market are proprietary blends because they don’t tell you the exact amounts of the proteins in the formula. Pro JYM, on the other hand, lists the exact amounts on the front of the container of all three types of proteins in their four distinct forms: whey protein isolate (7.5 grams), micellar casein (7 grams), egg albumen (2.5 grams) and milk protein isolate (7 grams – 5.5 grams casein, 1.5 grams whey). Nitrogen spiking (aka “amino spiking” or “protein spiking”) is an unscrupulous technique where some supplement companies put in less protein than what’s listed on the label as a means of slashing costs and increasing their protein margins – at the user’s expense. Getting a “spiked” protein means paying for, say, 24 grams of protein but getting only 18 grams of actual whole proteins. With Pro JYM, you get all 24 grams. Pro JYM is not and never will be spiked with cheap fillers.

  • Flavor is very good
Basically a mix of milk proteins, whey and casein, (in non milk proportions) with a small amount of egg protein. So it should be roughly~ 12.5g casein, 10g whey and 2.5g egg protein. For the price it makes more sense to me to just mix some whey and egg proteins in milk (or with casein) . Otherwise seems like a decent protein blend to split its effects over hours, though I'd have liked a bit more egg protein instead of adding it myself. ... show more

  • Tastes like beige.
I recently ordered the Pro Jym All Natural White Chocolate Raspberry. It mixes CRAZY well (at least with my blender ball shaker and room temperature water) and doesn't clump. The scoop is too big for my shaker, which is a bummer, but I usually just put my supplements in ziplock bags the night before as I work out first thing in the morning. As far as taste for this one, I was concerned about what the taste would be for something that was all natural AND trying to taste like white chocolate raspberry AND be a quality supplement. Do not be afraid. Just imagine that beige was a taste, not a color. That's what it is. Easy to drink, no one is going to crave it, it's not bad, it just exists as beige. ... show more

  • High quality blend, backed by science, awesome flavor
Not much to say, a great evidence based protein blend. Was looking for a casein blend to supplement morning and night in addition to my post workout whey. The benefits of blends (with casein) are well documented. This is a great formulation. Mixes well with a shaker, the taste is rich and feels like cheating! There are some sweeteners but that's not a turnoff for me (no added sugar). Will definitely be buying again. Little pricey but I think between the good formulation, easy mix, and flavor it's worth ... show more

  • Tasty and Filling...
Have a shake for breakfast in the morning and it is delicious. I make mine with almond milk and sometimes add banana or blueberries, it usually holds me over until lunch without getting hungry! This mix is better than I expected. Most taste really metallic, but I actually think this one is one of the best I have found in a long time!. ... show more

  • Gross and mediocre
It’s okay. I got chocolate mousse and it is so disgustingly sweet. The good part is that it mixes alright (not perfect at all) and it doesn’t make me bloated. I also don’t get nauseous with this one which is great because I take 2 servings at a time. Have I seen any results after taking it once a day for 2 weeks? Nope. My body is pretty much the same so... what’s the point of having this ? ... show more

  • Tastes good and works
I usually cycle through chocolate and vanilla so I don’t get bored and both taste good. Not chalky or metallic. Tastes good in both water or milk. It’s also very light and won’t make you feel bloated. As for nutrition, I feel it’s a good blend that works and definitely has shown improvement for me. I used to use Optimum Nutrition for a very long time and once I switched I instantly started noticing more mass and I gained 10 lbs. of what looks like healthy weight. I’m also improving on my lifts which I can’t say is directly due to the protein but I guess it can be said that that’s changed as well. ... show more

  • Best protein money can buy
I love this protein. Dissolves quick, shakes up well and NEVER clumps and has by far the best blend of protein sources you need. If i hadn't bought the other flavors though, I would give it two stars. The all natural white chocolate raspberry hurts to drink, its that bad. The vanilla is incredible, i mix it with my pre and post-workout. I figured i would give the "all natural" thing a try and lord have mercy does this flavor stink. Next time, i'll go with the vanilla bean or chocolate, and I would strongly recommend you do too! ... show more

  • Better than most powders!
As a natural physique competitor, this is one of the best tasting powders on the market. I feel a lot of reviewers are looking for a MRP type item, this is a supplement, not replacement. It's not going to actually taste like REAL red velvet cake, but it's close enough. The taste of both the Chocolate Mousse and Red Velvet Cake is richer than ON and Cellucor products. I think ON, Cellucor, and Dymatize taste awful, so it's all personal preference, but since this has casein mixed in, it's a little thicker in consistency, which is what I prefer. ... show more
