I've got two projects underway that I am using the OOTONAT Privacy Fence Panels for. The first project is for a much needed privacy fence between my neighbors side yard and my side patio. I remodeled my side yard patio and raised it almost three feet higher so that the deck itself is the same height of the floors in the house, which makes it safer to exit the house and onto the patio without any type of trip hazard. I love the new height of the patio, but I HATE that my neighbor has a straight-on view of my patio from their bedrooms and I need to install this Privacy Screen to give BOTH of us some form of privacy, which it will. I just got the metal fence poles put in yesterday and need to wait for the cement to cure before beginning to finish the fence so I can happily install the privacy fence. Once all this is done I will post photos. The second project is using the remainder of the 50 foot length of privacy fence to cover half of my small greenhouse walls to protect the inside plants from bugs, high winds, and unwanted cats in the neighborhood who tend to want to congregate inside it. I've got sheet plastic up currently for protection, but the solid plastic doesn't allow circulation of air and gets too darn hot in the summer. This privacy fence material is PERFECT for covering the side of my greenhouse that faces the neighbor that gets zero sun but needs air circulation. Cannot wait to begin that project in the next several weeks. The privacy screen arrived tightly bound with thick plastic zip ties, so be careful when cutting this zips with a wire cutter. I've got the screen material laid out in my backyard to get the packaging wrinkles out before I install it on my new fence. Now let's talk about the privacy screen material itself. The mesh screen is actually thicker than I expected, which means it will last longer. The 'hem' around all the edges is very thick which it needs to be to adequately hold the brass grommets securely in place. The grommets are placed two feet apart which will give great support and attachment to the fence itself. This is a very well thought out privacy screen, giving it the opportunity to last quite a few years. I received three different brands of screening for a recent project, and of the three this was the least rigid of the bunch. The grommets and netting are all fine, but I did find that the other brands felt more durable. They also came with many more grommets along the edges, especially on the ends where it is most important. This netting keeps the same spacing for the grommets throughout. I used this item to obscure the view onto my front porch to deter neighborhood package thieves, and it has provided the privacy I needed. It was easy to install with the included zip ties and there are evenly spaced grommets to adhere the mesh where you need it.

    • Perfect privacy fence panel. Exactly what it should be.

This green privacy fence panel arrived well packaged. It has met all expectations that such an item SHOULD meet, and it works very well. It was wrapped EXTREMELY tightly in 3 gigantic tie wraps and over that was wrapped in secure fitted plastic. Be careful to not cut the mesh when trying to remove the tie wraps. It would be EASY to accidently cut the mesh when trying to remove the tie wraps because they are on there so very tight. We used the dull handle end of a spoon, slid it under each tie-wrap, lifted it up away from the mesh, "bit down on it" with wire cutters and pulled upward until it snapped open. It worked well. If anyone uses that method, just be careful. When we did that, small bits of the plastic went flying off two of the straps, through the air. Best to wear eye protection and not do this with animals or children nearby. Our regular-weight every day scissors wouldn't cut the tie wraps when we tried, that's why we used the wire cutters. The color is exactly what it is supposed to be and does match the original panel that we have on another section of chain link fencing. This is green, not a mostly black version of green. The grommets are gold tone and are installed into the edges nicely. The dimensions of the panel are correct. The panel is well made, good quality and has a thick reinforced edging which is black. Comes with 80 black cable ties. Easy to install on fence and makes an ugly chain link fence look a million times better. Brings a welcome sense of "enclosure" and privacy to the yard. ... show more

So far so good! This fence cover seems to be holding up well and it's doing its job well. Less of the neighbor's trash is blowing into our yard, and it keeps the neighbor's yard out of view. Careful when unpacking to not nick the lining when you clip the cable ties!

I got this screen to try and prevent my neighbor's weeds from blowing into my lawn. I have a 5' tall chain-link fence without a top bar, so I was worried this material wouldn't work, but it does. I installed the screen on a mildly breezy day, so it required two of us to wrestle the fabric and the plastic zip-ties used to secure it. Once stretched tight, the screen really changed the look of our backyard for the better. The material is a plastic weave, similar to an outdoors tarp, but allows air movement. The fasteners are plastic zip-ties. This method of fastening, though easy and effective for most fence types, has weathered poorly in my previous outdoor projects. However, there are many ties left-over from the install to use when they break. So far I am impressed with this screen and look forward to a summer of fewer weeds. ... show more
