Worked great for making colored soap with a molding kit for children. The soap that came with the kit was hard to melt without accidentally boiling. This worked like a charm although the result it somewhat softer than ordinary soap.

It’s a lot of soap base for the price which is great. I made breast milk soaps with it for my infant who has density skin and is prone to breakouts. Her skin feels very soft after every use. Very easy to melt and turn into a bar of soap with whatever you decide to use with it. It has a bit of an odd smell, so I definitely do recommend buying a scent to go with it (lavender drops or oatmeal or something) to help with the off putting smell it has. ... show more

I made a batch of soap with this clear glycerin pour and melt and they turned out beautifully. I added a little swirl of color in each and was so pleased with the results that feel good about giving them away as Christmas presents. I purchased unscented and added a little essential oil to some as well. I just ordered a second batch for more soap. They suds extremely well in the bath as well.
