  • fun decorating game
Style: Pretty Princess Party
this is fun for the whole family! the mini games are not too easy there’s 3 levels easy, medium and hard. lots of dresses and hair styles to choose from. tip decorate villagers houses first bc sometimes you get the item you need for a castle room. you can start this game over again and again! reading? sure just press the a button to skip. yes you will have to help little ones with finding the right items. i don’t recommend this for preschoolers unless you’re willing to help.. ... show more

  • Really fun, even for an adult
Style: Pretty Princess Party
Ok listen i'm not gonna lie i bought this game for myself a 20 year old. Cute game, insane amount of outfits, hair, makeup, furniture, etc etc way more customizability than i thought. If you like animal crossing happy home designer than this game will be perfect for you. A couple of mario party esque mini games as means to earn money, nothing special, but i really love it as a game to unwind and just do some simple room decorating lol ... show more

  • Great Game

Great game for 3+ children. It just requires a lot of reading, but navigating around the castle is fun and easy. The mini games are the best.

  • Cute but with a handful of problems
Style: Pretty Princess Party
First of all, I did at least a barebones amount of research before I bought this. My standards were already low because I was told that this was originally going to be a phone game but they changed it. Probably overall a better idea to do that rather than try to trick ppl into lame charges or whatever. But if they were going to bring it over to switch, they should have polished it just a bit and add a few things. I'll list here what my biggest problems were, just as a casual gamer who planned from the start to only play this for a few days before handing it off to my kid. First of all, the price of this game. I got it on sale at 27.99, and that's the most anyone should pay. 15-20 would be fairer considering it has technical problems, which I'll explain in a minute. But just for reference of why I think it should be priced this way, because "Sakuna of Rice and Ruin" is also a 40 dollar game... And that is a way, waaaay better game. So if Sakuna can ask for 40 for what they bring to the table, this simple game should be satisfied with 20 tops. Now, my biggest gripe is that there was an issue where I couldn't complete this already very small game. There's not much too it. You play the minigames, collect the outfits and furniture, and decorate the rooms of the castle and the bunnies rooms. BUT, one of the bunnies, I think her name was Marron, has a problem when you are decorating her room! She asks for a bath, a stone statue, and a dresser, but she won't accept ANY dresser I've tried to give her in the whole game! I unlocked every single dresser and she wouldn't accept any of them, leading me to fail every time. I don't know why this is but its stupid and frustrating. Another issue I have with this game is that once you complete the throne room, it (Spoiler alert if you really care) says its going to send you back to your world, and that doing so will cause the thorns to appear back where they were. Well that's lame. They should have made it so that you have the choice to either go back to your world/restart the game, or stay in that world so you can keep redecorating. It sucks because now I can't decorate the throne room or it seemingly leads to my progress being undone. Another problem is that while you can redesign the rooms in the palace, you can't redesign the bunnie's houses. Why not? IDK its not like there's much else to do in the game, I thought designing these rooms was the main point... In fairness to it, delivered on some aspects, which is why I gave it a few stars. It is what is it, a decorating game firstly, there is a dress up element and there's a fair amount of cute dresses and accessories you can collect, a decent amount of hairstyles altho there could have been more short hairstyles, and a decent amount of hair colors altho I was frustrated with a lack of black or red/orange hair. There were red dresses, why no red hair? And a couple of the pinks looked a lil closer to orange, but not quite. Then there were several types of brown, and white hair, but no black... Just, so confusing... Also this is just nitpicking but I feel like Citrus Yellow and Silky Yellow shoulda been swapped... But anyways otherwise a decent selection, and a really good amount of furniture to collect for decorating, which is the main point of the game. It'll work for it's main purpose, to entertain my kid now that I'ma hand it off it her, but to be entertaining enough for me to feel satisfied for buying it I feel like it just lacked a lil extra something that coulda been there, besides the red n black hair and that glitch with Marron being fixed. I feel like there shoulda been just a couple more mini-games to choose from, a few more villagers to help decorate or maybe a park/playground for the town I coulda decorated, just one more staircase and set of corridors/rooms to decorate before you get to the throne room... Like I said, I went in with my standards already lowered and I was still just a bit disappointed. Cute game for kids at least, though it needs a bit of reading so if you want to leave them alone with it make sure they can read, but not much older than reading age because then it probably won't interest them for long lol, and try to get it cheap bc they didn't even bother to make sure Marron the bunny wasn't gonna turn down every dresser in the game. • A great animal crossing happy home designer/mario party clone even for adults.
Style: Pretty Princess Party
I was worried when buying Pretty Princess Party that the game would be too oriented towards children (given the general theming) and while some of the mini games are on the easier side (a little *too* easy tbh) the bulk of the game involves decorating homes and rooms which is fortunately suitable for all ages. The game is ridiculously cute, and that includes everything from the customization options, to the furniture and npcs. As other reviews have noted there *is* a lot of reading. Upfront for the tutorial sequences, as well as further into the game when navigating menus and figuring out what "key items" you need for a particular room. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of animal crossing and particularly enjoys the home decoration aspect of those games. ... show more

  • No voice acting and a lot of reading
Style: Pretty Princess Party
Update: my daughter is now five and has been reading since I first did this review. It makes it a little easier for her to play alone. We have two copies and sometimes play at the same time together but there is no actual multiplayer. I forgot to also mention the character customization is nice and has darker skin tones as an option which is often missing in Asian made games. Game looks to be for very young children but there is too much reading for very young children. There is even a mini game you need to play to earn money early on that involves reading and answering questions quickly. The game is similar to happy home designer and better for at youngest a child who can read very well. I bought this for my 4 year old daughter who likes playing dress up. I have to play a lot for her to unlock things. Unfortunately also New Game is the first selection when starting up the game and she frequently restarts her progress. I am working on teaching her about that certain things say to at least avoid that. Otherwise it’s a good game and surprisingly fun. ... show more

  • Fantastic game
Style: Pretty Princess Party
I'm an adult, and I adore this game. It's if happy home designer met a fashion game. The mini games are fun, the catalogue of items to unlock is endless, tons of decorating options. Just hold off on the last room, if you wanna keep playing.

My daughter loves this game and it is one of the few she will go back and replay for fun. She is super excited for the Magic Garden Island version!
