First thing I noticed was the smoothness of the bamboo. I had just recently ordered another tray from somewhere else and their bamboo wasn't sanded down or coated with anything! It was raw, very rough and splintery to the touch. I immediately sent it back and just as I had, this one came up in a flash sale and I knew it was a sign that this is the one I should pick! Construction is solid, is larger than an older one I'm replacing, and it is loaded with features! The 2 side trays are actually removable and it does come with a bonus slotted soapdish! One of the trays has a hole for either holding a razor or for drainage. The thick wire brace for supporting a book or tablet includes both a fabric hammock and the slide-zippered waterproof pouch. There is a separate pocket on the pouch to slide over the brace, and you can still keep the hammock on, if desired. Other features include side slot to hold a thin-based goblet, a circular, multi-holed recessed platform for a candle, round soap or bowl and a slot for your smartphone. This gives a multitude of option combinations and versatility. Also included are a set of 4 adhesive-backed silicone strips, to prevent sliding all over the bathtub walls. I only needed to trim off 4 squares for each bottom corner, because those are the only parts at all that touch my tub. This item arrived somewhat delayed but it was worth the wait. The item is sturdy, has a good weight and fits my tub perfectly. So many other similar trays had reviews that said they were of poor design and lightweight. This one is just the opposite. I highly recommend.

At first glance I was super bummed because I thought it was going to be too short for our 2 person jacuzzi tub But then I saw it included grip tape and when placed at the bottom it was perfect to help the tray stay in place and not slip!
