this works great and fits my bathtub without the need for extension. I took the brown fabric cover off the book holder because I thought it was a little tacky. I'll have to find out if the holder will work well without it or if I need to make something else to fit on there. I do wish storing it was a little simpler. you have to remove the metal piece and fold it in half, but the sides just want to extend and will slide out when trying to do anything with it. plus then the metal piece is separate and can get lost easily. overall I'm happy with it because I've been wanting a bathtub tray, but it could be better ... show more

I'm a guy who works and plays hard. When my body aches I like to enjoy a hot soothing bath. This tray allows me to place items to enhance the bathing experience. I usually have a water bottle, phone , e-reader and tablet with me. The tray allows all of these items to be placed in front of me in case I need them. I really enjoy the tablet holder so I can watch a show while I soak. It's very well made out of bamboo which is naturally resistant to mold and mildew. The adjustable width is able to let it fit from a fairly narrow to a very wide bathtub. Good job. ... show more

Got this for my wife, as she loves to soak and relax in the tub. I was concerned that it'd be sturdy once stretched across our tub, which is wider than a standard one - but no worries - it holds up just fine. All of the little slots and additions (e.g., for wine glass, phone, book slot, etc. are handy, and makes it more of spa-like experience. One caveat - you can see from our tub configuration that our faucet fixture is in the center of the long edge of the tub. This placement makes it a little tight to fit, because you can't slide it up or back as easily as you could if your fixtures were on the short end of the tub - just be sure to take your configuration into account when considering this item. But if your fixtures are on the short end, I'd recommend! ... show more

As the photo shows, there is some assembly required! I haven't put it together yet, but it's a heavy, durable tray that should last a long time. I've had a tray like this before that started to mildew after a while, and I'm hoping this one won't have that same problem. You'd think something made for a bathtub would have a water-resistant paint on it, but we'll see. I'll update after a few weeks of use. ... show more
