I bought the largest one available (they rate it up to a 95lb dog) the size is pretty good for a large dog but the build quality and structure is absolute garbage. The wood is super thin (1/4") my German Shepherd puppy is 32lbs and the house creeks and cracks when he walks inside. Alot of the wood is split from the factory and is very sharp. Now I have to purchase stronger wood to reinforce the floor and walls. I would not recommend this house unless you have a very small breed (under 20lbs). And if your okay with having to fix the poor quality control and assembly from the factory. ... show more

Don’t waste ur money if u have big dogs like I do. I originally bought this before I build one for my dogs. I have 2 American bulldogs pure breed and I bought this house for one dog only to try it out. It broke on the first day while putting it together. First week the bottom floor broke. And then with some wind it flew away and I had to tight it up to the ground. And now I have a broken dog house from the roof and floor. Not worth buying for that money. I build one for them now with less money and much stronger house for my babies ... show more

This item arrived with multiple chips and cracks along the roof boards. One of the screw points was broken. Despite this, it looked nice and I was able to assemble it. I hoped to return it but amazon refers you to the manufacturer. The picture IS misleading by the way. The black roof material needed for weather proofing is not included. We kept it. But now, 4 months later, the wood has broken in other areas, including the wood that supports the floor boards. My dogs hardly like to go in it, they probably fear the thing coming apart. Good thing I kept their old house. Stay away! ... show more

OK I could not be more disappointed with this doghouse. It is the largest piece of junk I have ever ordered from Amazon in over a decade. The roof has no waterproof qualities whatsoever it is a literally a sheet of plywood with some fake slats put on top. The entire doghouse is held together by essentially 4 bolts and 4 screws a child could break this by leaning into it hard. The floorboards are so weak that my 60 pound dog sags in them as she sits. If I could give this a zero I would it is junk do not buy I repeat do not buy. Update. 1 day after a rain photos uploaded. This is a scam item. Do not buy. ... show more

Product not as described. Choose another product and seller. Roof does NOT have asphalt shingles on top as indicated in the photo and description. Does not have plastic feet- has wooden feet which will rot from sitting on wet ground. Top does not hinge or “easily snap on”— top is not removable at all. Is NOT made of solid wood! It has very soft wood such as fir and easily dents, splinters, and comes off in chunks. Do not buy this prooduc! Seller should completely revise written description—this is a cheap product and no quality construction anywhere on it. ... show more

I have ordered this house in the past and it was GREAT...but I left the houses behind when I moved to another state... Re-purchased this house in December and just put it together last week (April)... A bit disappointed this time around. No shingles on the roof and there is NO way to secure the feet...so the house is constantly sliding off of the feet (there were screws included for the feet, but there are no screw holes in the feet, and I do not have anything that will drill thru plastic (the feet are plastic). If I had put it together sooner, I'd probably have asked for a replacement :-) but at this point, I'll just work with it. MY ADVICE: this is a good house, if it's shipped with all the parts...so open it as soon as you get it and check for shingles and a way to secure the feet :-) ... show more

So easy to put together!! I’m a handy woman but even ikea stuff takes me a while longer than men and a lot of following directions. This was wayyyyy easier! I use it for one full grown pug and two puppy pugs that are almost 4 months. They all fir fine and love it. I read reviews about floor and I could see how it would break but I plan on putting something underneath if it does or hopefully before it does! It’s totally durable so far. The legs screw in with a screw that will strip so idk how long it will stay sturdy or if moved without picking up (sliding) may break them off but I haven’t moved it much and it’s light enough to pick up and carry. I have on back porch so not sure if rainproof but it did get some dirtbike oil spilled on roof and it didn’t leak into the inside. It was on roof and on concrete so must have been pretty weatherproof if the oil didn’t get inside. Had for about a month and it’s so perfect. I’ve seen as low s 69 and high of 100. I got for around $80 and totally worth not trying to save money and build my own!! ... show more

SUPER EASY TO ASSEMBLE -two bolts go in a predrilled hole at each corner with a locking nut. The flooring is just dropped into place; note - the notched sides go to the edge. A screw on each corner holds the roof in place. I found the wood smelled really good, I love the smell of cedar, but it did seem a bit flimsy and cracked when I put one of the screws in. Not too sure how long it'll hold up to the weather but still pretty happy with my purchase. Everything came in good condition in the box with lots of bubble wrap around everything. I turned the doghouse backwards against the house and cut a second hole in the side to make a breezeway for the dog door. I also bought a door flap that I added onto it too. My dogs love it, & I love it. For what I needed it for, I'm happy with this purchase & I would buy again. *I did notice several complaints about warping after wood gets wet, I had some leftover waterproof varnish that I put a coat on the house to hopefully help protect it from the weather. ... show more
