I was nervous purchasing this because of some of the negative reviews about the application and bubblies but I think it’s really important to apply it properly and you won’t have any problems. I bought these to cover a white monster riser that I turned into an elevated dog feeding g station to put dog bowls on top of for my chihuahua. The paper is glossy, thick, and looks upscale when applied properly. I peeled off a 1/2 inch of the paper at the very top and slowly peeled the back as I worked my way downward, slowly, smoothly and securing the paper as I went. I purchased this for the sit to stand desk that I recently got to dress it up a bit and couldn't be happier with how it turned out! The contact paper is thick and great quality. It does not easily tear and easy to install! Adhesion is amazing! Easy peel yet, would stick again with no problem! Glossy finish and seemless look! INSTALLATION TIPS: PLAN BEFORE YOU STICK. Cut your materials and lay it how you want it first and give enough room for edges. CLEAN YOUR AREA. Wipe with a cleaner or whatever you wanna use but wipe it dry with a microfiber cloth so you don't have small particles laying around as this will leave bubbles. START IN THE BACK! So you can get a feel for how to install it. How you want your corners folded etc. STAY CALM & BE PATIENT. Things can get overwhelming easily specially if youre working on a bigger space. Keep things neat and apply small sections only to avoid wrinkles or bubbles. ROLL IT! Roll the piece that you're going to use the other way so you'll have better control while applying. Roll carefully so you dont create creases and folds. This will appear on your desk and hard to smooth out. PEEL IT. Peel small sections only! I peel abt 2 inches at a time. I carefully apply the adhesive part on the corner of my desk allowing extra inchb to be folded underneath. WIPE IT. Use microfiber cloth to wipe as you apply. Wipe with pressure but carefully. I wipe as I go meaning I've got pressure on my left hand while wiping on up and down motion to smooth out any bubbles while peeling the back paper with my right hand. ROLL IT AGAIN. Roll back paper (the one on your right hand) as you go so you have less clutter. CUT IT. Cut a small piece to patch the corners of your desk. This will conceal all the folds you have there. Great quality but unfortunately I couldn't get it to work for me. I have porcelain tile so I struggled with air bubbles in some spots. The marble is very subtle which I was looking for. I would definitely buy again for a different project.

This is sticky and you must unroll carefully! It can crease. I laid it out slowly and for the most part it worked fine. I had no idea how to do the sink so I made cuts and it doesn’t look good and doesn’t stick. I later saw a short video where someone used a hair dryer and stretched the vinyl until it wrapped….which would work if you don’t already have a faucet installed. So, you will likely have some seams unless you take off the faucet. That said, I haven’t tried the technique with the dryer ... show more

The last 1/3 of the roll is useless as it’s merely impossible to not have bubbles. With the cheap quality of stick and backing, the roll bubbles itself and that makes it extremely hard to lay. I have bubbles everywhere. Also, the initial cut of the roll is not straight, making it harder to apply and cut your own straight lines ... show more

Space is an issue for all my bottles and creams, etc. I ended up using a cubical with cloth cubical storage bins. Licked it But it needed to fit in better with my decor. I bought these peel n stick rolls and covered on the top and sides of cubical. They were just what I wanted. Wow, what a transformation Love it so much more now. Very pretty and glossy. Can wipe it down when cleaning. Tiny bit of trouble putting it on straight bc the cubical was not level. Was able to pull it off snd recenter several times without it ripping. There are a fee tiny Ir bubbles left in spots but I left them alone bc the paper was straight enough for me. Really cannot notice them unless you stare at it long enough. All done. Nice glossy PVC. Don't try to install it in too large of sheets, makes it difficult to apply. Pull off backing paper on 1-2 inches and fold it back. Stretch the exposed tacky part just where you want it, and slowly pull the backing paper back as you set it using your hand. I used this product to resurface my kitchen countertops and so far after a year, they have held up pretty well. some of the corners have ripped and where the seams had to meet it has buckled or lifted up a bit. but if you are looking for a way to temporarily do your countertops for a year or so till you can have them professionally done...this is a good inexpensive way to do it. ... show more
