Seriously. I had to stop what I was doing so I could come into my office and write this review. For you. So I started by unrolling this with the pretty side down on the cutting mat, and got really unimpressed really quickly. The paper was bubbly and rippled and just generally made me feel like this was a really cheap product. Well, it is. But that's not always a bad thing. So I got it cut to size, knowing I would apply it to my turntable cabinet, then rip it off and throw it away, unhappy that I got such a cheap product. But there's apparently a reason it has great reviews. When I started sticking it to the MDF, it started making my blood vessels tingle. I started feeling the excitement pulse through me. This cabinet that I custom-built is awesome in every way. Except the top. Just MDF painted egg-shell black. Well the turntable's feet would stick to that painted surface like it never dried. Stupid. That's why I bought the veneer. Now it looks like I built an actual piece of furniture. Like a nice one. I'm so happy with this veneer for turning my project into a professional looking cabinet that I can't even express it. I spend a LOT of time sitting my game room, spinning records and drinking whiskey. And if you have an AT-LP7, you know it's worthy of a nice cabinet. So now I have something a lot prettier to stare at. And I think it's safe to say that the ladies will love it. ... show more

My first bad review in all the years I have purchased many things. I tried so hard and patiently to use it to change the color of my small book shelf, well it ended up ripping, it had wrinkles, then when I tried pulling it off it damaged my shelf, apparently it glues good just not thick enough quality. I have bought better ones at a local store. So this one will be a "not again " for me, lost my money on this one. ... show more

I love contact paper but some are easier to use than others. This one was incredibly easy to use! It sticks really well so make sure you have it where you want it before you start to roll the backing away. The great thing is if you get a little bubble or fold you can easily rub it out. I just used a ruler to help me keep it bubble and fold free for the most part. When I did get a little bubble I rubbed it back and forth with the ruler and it went away quickly. The before and after of living room side table speaks for itself! (FYI: If you have craft exacto razors- the best ones to use for contact paper are the chisel ones) ... show more

*updating to 5 stars— they asked me to because I requested a replacement roll since half my other roll was wrinkled and tore.**This stuff is beautiful, however, it is not scratch resistant, and it tear’s extremely easily. It is solid in color and you cannot see through it. It does have a light texture to it as well. Would I buy it again if I needed to? Probably. ... show more
