I bought three rolls of this to cover my table. I'm using it as a backdrop for photographing clothes for my business. The white wood grain is beautiful! The "grain" silver and reflects the light when directly above it, but it has a nice, natural white wood look - almost shabby chic. The rolls did look creased like someone has said before, but once you stick it down and smooth it out, it's as flat as the surface you laid it over. The rolls were very easy to use. The first roll I followed the directions exactly and it was simple. The second and third roll I did a bit differently. I laid out the roll next to the paper already on the table to make sure I like how the lines match up. Next, I cut about half an inch of the paper backing next to the edge that will lay next to to the paper already on the table but I kept it attached to the sticky paper. I cut that half inch strip into approximately 6 inch strips, still keeping them attached. I removed the center backing off the strip and lines that up. Working from the center, I follow the directions on how to lay the paper while making sure my edges are touching. Once I completed both sides, I did the same for the rest of the paper - working from the center out because it was easier to release any trapped air. This stuff is very easy to clean too. I put this paper on my dining table and it's so easy to clean up any spilled food. I highly recommend this. It's beautiful, good price and can change the look of your furniture. Notes: your surface must be flat and not textured because the texture will show through. It is good on straight surfaces but it doesn't curve and stick well (see the last picture I posted and that's wrapped around the top of the table). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Applying this vinyl to a vertical surface is a bit more challenging, but the absolute easiest method is to lightly spray Windex on your surface first. This allows you to position it perfectly and use a squeegee or plastic scraper to remove bubbles and smooth it into place. As the Windex dries, the vinyl sticks. Super easy on flat surfaces. For curved or detailed surfaces, watch YouTube videos of auto vinyl application and this will help you understand the product. This is removable and repositionable, but using a heat gun or hair dryer will adhere it more strongly to your surface, possibly requiring you to use heat to remove the film from your surface at a later date. We used the silver and white wood grain on some cabinets, and are floored by the quality. It looks incredibly high end, and because the pattern is embossed in the vinyl, it feels and appears like real wood grain. It is a soft, warm white with a matte finish and a soft metallic grain. I've posted pics of our bright white cabinets side by side with the white/silver metallic vinyl. The matte finish makes it look like authentic wood. Very impressive! ... show more

It is so pretty but no matter what I did I got line air bubble veins. I have used a lot of contact paper over the years and this stuff is aweful. Totally ruined my project. Sure it looks nice and then you see all the bubbles and it's so bad! I bought two rolls and regret it. About 30dollars and I should have just use the 10dollar roll I bought by mistake since that went on perfectly without any bubbles. The backing was very wrinkly and I thought ok no big deal, I've dealt with this before and it was fine. Not fine at all. And it is thick and when you try to take it off it leaves a sticky residue which the other kind doesn't do! So disappointed by this. ... show more

I covered a shoe box, and a hot chocolate canister for decorative organizing. It could be a little more sticky, sticking to the shoebox around edges...well I need extra tape to finish..but overall, such a huge difference!

I gave this product 3 stars based on it working for my intended use, but removed 2 because it would not work well for what the product is actually designed for. I bought one roll of this “Silver White Wood” adhesive paper to use while building a doll house. As a lover of crafts and interior design: • I would NOT recommend using this on your walls. •I would recommend using this for crafts. Pros: Price. Beautiful design. Easy installation. Easy to trim. Rigidity makes placement easier than shelf-liner type contact papers. Cons: Brittle - mix between paper and old laminate. Wrinkles - the last 2-3 feet of paper are pretty much unusable. Due to the rigidity and the way the product is rolled, the last few feet are impossible to get to lay flat without bubbles. Part of the paper was actually creased. I attempted to heat it using a hair dryer to help get it to lay flat; it didn’t work. I removed it and attempted to relay it while using the heat; it didn’t work. Thankfully I laid the bottom piece of my project first, since the upper portion will be mostly covered by doll furniture and a rug and using this product in this area was an afterthought due to the amount remaining. ... show more

I absolutely love this contact paper! It's a beautiful white faux wood look with a subtle silver shimmer! The paper is good quality and thicker than most contact paper. The adhesive is very sticky so try to have the paper lined up perfectly the first time. It's not very forgiving, and if reapplied too.many times, it will develop lines in the paper that that won't come out. The wallpapr is a georgeous wood grain in white, and it is easy to apply, and the adheasive is great. It is very sticky but easy to move and resticks. Easiest wallpaper I have ever used. Would buy again.
