Given some of the reviews I wasn't expecting such a nice earring box. For the price it is very nice, I will probably sand and refinish it so it isn't quite as rustic, but that's a personal choice. All of the hinges and joints work perfectly, it holds all the earrings I will likely ever own and it is more than sturdy enough to serve its purpose well. I can recommend this product. It gets four stars only because it is not a top quality piece of furniture. For the price point, it would be a five, I just don't want to mislead anyone. ... show more

Buyer beware, this was so poorly made and the wood was so light and flimsy. The handle on the front of the box was put on crooked. The draws would just fall out even if you pulled it out a tiny bit. The magnet on the door fell out. The top cover when lifted felt like the hinges were not going to hold it. The paint job was horrible! I wouldn’t have even kept it if it was free!!!! Box is ok. Expecting better quality as drawers don't line up when inserted. Not a whole lot of roo. For bracelet or necklace to hang. I love the idea of this jewelry box. I mostly own earrings and was excited that this had far more storage for larger dangling/hoop earrings. I have to say I was very disappointed when I opened the box. I don't believe it's worth the $70 I spent so I am returning. Here's why: - It seems to be made out of balsa wood which doesn't usually stand up to use. - The doors were misaligned and the magnet to keep one side of the door closed just didn't do the trick. - The hinges were so loose they didn't hold the door in place well. Even when I tried tightening the screws on the hinges, it didn't do much. - The drawers do not slide well. Once I took out a drawer, it took far longer than expected to put it back. This might be useful for a little girl that won't use it frequently, but it was not up to the quality I'd expect for the price. ... show more
