This item was delivered to our winter address in FL on 7/31/2023. We just returned home to this address and I tried using it today, 11/1/2023. It does not work as an air fryer. I grilled chicken, taking 20 min longer than recipe stated. I then tried cooking red potatoes. Recipe stated 12 min. I cooked it for 30 min and still not done. I am going to try frozen pre cooked items, once I go shopping, to see if that makes a difference. I am not happy at all with this product. Will try calling company in the morning. After speaking with the manufacturer I am very satisfied with the outcome. They could not provide me with an identical product as a replacement. However I was issued a full refund the same day. After going through weeks of hard air fryer cooking test, I have reached my verdict. The PowerXL Air Fryer Grill 8 in 1 is by far the most convenient and large family oriented air fryer grill and oven on the market. The negative comments a few folks have been making about the smoking issues from air frying foods like crispy chicken or rotisserie comes from the obvious lack and in experience from knowing how to cook in a oven. You can not have food dripping grease on hot heating elements without a drip tray to catch the grease. The same applies with your main house kitchen oven. That is why the make cookie sheets or baking trays. This applies to all major brands air fryer ovens & grills out there on the market. Also, I immediately wipe down my air fryer grill with a dish detergent (Dawn) and a warm wet wash rag. This oven is amazing when operated correctly. The accessories are top graded material and the grilling features have no igual. Considering price and performance, I rate this air fryer over "5 Stars". I recommend you purchase the Amazon's 8 in 1 mode vice the Walmart lower model version. ... show more

Today marks 15 days I purchased this air fryer i use to own the power air fryer XL oven we always go for upgrades but this is nothing like it This air fryer has wears like if its 2 years old i only use it like 4-5 times threw out the week smokes alot when you cook something that drips alot of water or oil, the drip tray is very thin and burns really quick because the heat bars are way to close to the tray burn marks doesn’t comes off. I have to use another tray for drips, only tray i could air fry bacon is in the grill tray which in a down fall because the grease doesn’t drain it cooks with it so theres no point on air frying it. Cooks very slow air fried frozen sweet potatoes takes about 25 mins only good part about this is the egg tray it cooks them perfectly but who’s going to go invest on a air fryer that only does eggs like hello we in 2020 we can do that in any air fryer with your own tray. This air fryer smokes up your house if you cook some stuff over 30 mins like meats etc. i have an open kitchen so why have a new appliance that looks old? I try to scrub the door part the 2nd day and it got all scratched im definitely returning this THIS AIR FRYER IS ONLY GOOD TO USE IT FOR ONE DAY FOR COMMERCIALS AND THEN TOSS IT. We want something we can use everyday for a healthy living you will regret buying this air fryer like the first day i was very excited to get it for my b-day and threw out my old one of almost 3 year that drips out but how much i regret doing that.     • Cooks well
First, I've used this product several times and have had it for several months. The air fryer cooks well and the food has a good flavor. The unit is hard to clean and its drip pan doesn't collect any drippings. The grease runs out of the unit at the back right leg and onto my counter. It does smoke and has set off my smoke detector, but I just open the kitchen window to avoid that issue. Both of the non-stick pans that came with the unit are losing the black coating. They have never been scrubbed with any abrasive materials, one was damaged out of the box. The air frying basket became rusty after soaking it in the sink for a day. It does grill and fries well, but the baking feature is a little off, my cookies looked horrible. I did contact the seller and was unable to just return the non-stick pans. Communication with the company was not timely and my return window had passed. Overall, I like the product and use it weekly. ... show more

    • Daily use! Loving this air fryer!
We use this daily since we bought it for Christmas for ourselves. Takes a little time to learn temperature settings, but pretty much self-explanatory on the different settings. We use it to bake biscuits, air fry eggs, no-oil French fries, and we grilled steaks on it a couple of nights ago. Also great reheat function. The only thing we haven’t tried yet is the rotisserie function. We use a little spray oil in the air fry basket to keep vegetables from sticking. When using the basket, make sure you do not layer vegetables or be prepared to turn them frequently to get them evenly cooked or crisped. Clean the drip pan often. Clean the inside walls, bottom, and the inside of the glass door (steak and bacon still pop oil onto the inside walls of the fryer). Great price for this unit! Hoping it lasts for a couple of years.
