This controller is the most desired one in the household. The rechargeable battery lasts for many many hours. Bought this particular one for my disabled son and it took a week of using it daily for hours before I needed to recharge it for him. You can feel the quality when you hold it in your hands and use the buttons. The weight feels perfectly balanced in my hands, for my son the balanced weight helps to keep it from flopping around on his tray as he uses it with his anti sliding pad under it. The buttons and toggle switches respond smoothly and quickly with no sticking or delays. Nothing more frustrating than a non-responsive controller when you’re trying to smash your opponents. The colors on this particular are vibrant and eye catching and Mario and friends themed is always fun. If my disabled son is not playing this is the controller that everyone else is vying for. This manufacturer makes both the rechargeable and the battery style controllers and both are great and respond well the rechargeable are slightly heavier so the younger ones do better in longer games with the AAA battery ones. ... show more

I have a very unique take on controllers because I do esports. Basically, all of my equipment gets put through the wringer, especially my controller. However, this thing has stood up to it pretty well. It responds well and isn’t prone to sticking. It can pick up on very slight movements. Connecting to switches, even several different ones, is not an issue unlike other controllers I have tested. It also has a nice feel in the hands. It might be a tad large for smaller hands, though. I have noticed a slight issue where it will occasionally move to the left but this is relatively uncommon and easily fixed by turning the controller on and off. I have yet to have it impact gameplay. One thing I have yet to be able to test is how it holds up over time but I have been using this controller for several hours a day every day for a month and have not noticed any wear-related issues. If I remember to, I’ll edit this later with an update. Overall, this is quite a nice controller. There’s no bells and whistles but it does exactly what it says it does. Graphics: clean and durable. Face buttons: pretty good feel, not clicky but also not quiet. D-pad: serviceable. Joysticks: great There are two main drawbacks: the batteries are pretty hard to remove without some kind of tool (really could have used a little fabric pull tag), and the entire thing feels very light and kinda cheap. It’s hard to find these switch controllers that take standard AA batteries. They replaced these with their “enhanced “ or whatever they call it that have built in rechargeable batteries. I have a 7 year old that doesn’t pay attention and fails to recharge things. With these controllers I can just replace the batteries and keep gaming. These don’t have rumble, no fancy features but they are comfortable and I don’t have any problems playing with them. We have about 6 different styles of this brand controller now and love them. I have bought 3 Power A wireless controllers and they are amazing. Buttons work well, and if you take good care of them they won't break easily. My first controller died after 4 months, my second STILL works after 3 years BECAUSE I store it in the box it came in whenever I am done with my gaming session. This prevents drift issues or dust from getting on the sensors, especially if you travel with the controller a lot! My 3rd (I wanted two for multiplayer) is also fabulous.
