  • A must have for Cosplay, heavy and sturdy stayed on my belt all day!
Very nice quality MMPR Morpher, it is worth it getting this one over the newer ones that don't come with all the Power Coins. This is perfect for a costume and really made mine stand out at the Convention. Out of the few Rangers I was the only one with a complete outfit including the good Morpher!

  • Excellent recreation - but NIB collectors beware these come with batteries installed
So the entire thing is die cast metal and excellent quality, it looks exactly like the plastic toy they sold when the show was still hot in the US, I remember pretty distinctly as I owned that back in the day. So, it's not perfect for a few reasons though, so complaints: - FOR THE COLLECTORS OUT THERE: THIS CAME WITH BATTERIES INSTALLED. I don't mind this at all, I planned on opening it. But if you intend to keep this NIB, you run a serious risk of having leaking batteries destroy the electronics inside it over time. Something to consider if you plan on collecting. - It's identical to the plastic toy, which means the plastic version's bad placement of a screw, visible in the red part with the toy open. They could have re-engineered this one part to use glue or something not so visible. - The sound is low. It works, but I wish I could crank it up a little. The plastic belt attachment piece is kinda useless to me, but I still appreciate that they included it anyway, and it might be how I put it on display anyway, rather than build a base for it. It feels very sturdy with all the metal in it, although the stickers might be easy to chip or scratch. I'm probably going to modify mine since I don't care about resale value in the future, and I'll probably cover the stickers in a clear protect layer and find a way to remove the one screw on the face. But I can't really complain about that, as they were trying to recreate the toy perfectly, and that it does. Still highly recommend this for nostalgia and if you have a nerd collection like mine and don't mind admitting you loved this show. ... show more

  • The morpher you wanted when you were a kid
If you were a fan of the show when you were younger this is a must have. This is by no means a toy this is 100% a collectors item. The morpher is made from diecast metal with a nice patina finish. All coins are solid metal again with a similar finish to the morpher. The lights and sounds and kinda cheesy but do add to the effect. I could not be happier with this item and at the price point it is completely worth it when you look at the over all quality ... show more

  • Awesome Morpher-but be cautious if ordering from Amazon
So if your a Power Ranger fan, you will love this. Its an awesome display piece that comes with the original 5 power coins. It has sound effects as well if you want that (I don't care for those). However, I will say out of the 2 I ordered from Amazon, sent one back due to the plates not opening and closing right and there being this weird moisture/oily material on the inner red plate. The second one I got had a little bit of that weird moisture but the plates worked fine. Not really sure why both morphers that were ordered on different dates had this strange moisture on them, the other morphers I got from Gamestop and Big Bad Toy Store never had that issue. ... show more

  • I love it, but one minor issue
This was my 2nd Legacy morpher, but my first I bought from Amazon. The attention to detail is spot on!!! I like how the power coins have a weathered look to them, but there is 1 issue. the coins it comes with don't always wanna stay in the morpher. Like I would take it out of the belt clip from the handle, & the coin would come out. To fix that issue, you need to put in different coins, like the ones that come in the display case. Other than that, it's a great edition to anyone's collection ... show more

  • It's Morphin' Time!!
Hoo hoo, I love me some Power Rangers. I had once come across one of these at a Toys R Us, but at the time it was too expensive for me to pick up, and when I finally had the money, they didn't carry it anymore. That's why once I saw and held another one during a convention photoshoot, I knew I had to have one. It's awesome. The morpher works perfectly, opening up with sound effects and lights, and even playing the theme when you hold the button down. It's die cast, and has a fair bit of weight to it. It can take a bit of abuse, my sister ended up dropping it twice on a concrete floor, and it still works with hardly a scratch. (Though needless to say, I don't let my sister handle this anymore). All in all, this is a MUST for any Power Ranger fan. The price is definately worth it. ... show more

If you want a decent morpher, go for the movie editions and pick up the coins seperate. This set has poor QA. Stickers werent even on it properly and the diecast pieces on the morpher itself were bubbled. The movie edition has a shinier die cast part amd the button is for right handed rangers. If you want the classic labels, get some repros. I love it anyway, but there are other editions that look better. Seller was fantastic. ... show more
