The media could not be loaded. It allows you to adjust where the pressure on your back is targeted when doing core work. Just bought this in hopes of getting better abs and I think it will really help me achieve my goal. I got this specifically for the purpose of having something comfortably to sit on while doing crunches, easily moveable, And sturdy. So far so good! I busted my tailbone when I was little and it now protrudes making it very difficult to do sit ups or other seated exercises especially ones I have to lean back like Russian twists or v sits and such. This feels good! And I like that it has the c shape scoop to help with form I find my back and hips don’t get tweaked when doing exercises All in all very good! I’ve gotten mats before that folks and they within months completely tore open at the seams! I’m hoping this does not do that! I like the exercise mat but I wish I would've ordered the one with that has the extension for additional back support. It's a compact design which I really like and it has enough cushion for my taste. I've noticed I have to position myself just right in order to feel it working when I'm doing my sit-ups or reverse crunches. No issues with stitching that others have mentioned but mine came with a not-too-noticeable tear in the fabric right on the top. It's not a deal breaker for me because this will allow the cushion to ventilate and also not be stretched too taut. Others have complained they find this mat too big but speaking as a guy with an average build I think it's a little on the small side. This is a great piece for doing sit-ups. It keeps a curve to your natural lower back so you stay comfortable and keep from straining your lower lumbar. I’ve been using it for a bit now and I like it.

The specifications of this mat are IDENTICAL to other mats and this particular abdominal mat is much cheaper. This mat provides great support for not only sit-ups and other abdominal exercises but also support for more experienced athletes for movements such as handstand pushups and advanced yoga poses. This is a very stiff abmat in comparison to the one Rogue makes. But it's also a lot more affordable. It works as intended and holds up over use. The material is sewn together well but does feel like it's plastic and lower quality. It doesn't make abmat sit ups the most comfortable and enjoyable thing to do but it does work if you're trying to exercise on a budget.
