No more mixing paints with water or mediums, just pour these paints straight out of the bottle onto your canvas and you're ready to go! Such a pleasure!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these pouring paints, but I really wish you had larger bottles in the 18 color pouring Paint Set. 2 ounce bottles go way too fast, they're not enough for more than 3 paintings. :-( ... show more

I got this kit after we taught acrylic pour to my junior high students. I already have a lot of acrylic paints, but I decided to try pouring with a kit before learning to mix. The kit comes with a mixing medium, but the paint is ready to pour out of the bottle. I made this painting without adding anything other than the paint. (I also don't have a torch). I recommend watching tutorials before trying to pour with a lot of complementary colors. I like the picture I shared, but I had extra paint in my cup after finishing it and I tried improvising on a second canvas, which led to too much paint mixing and muddy colors. The kit recommends 1 oz of paint for 16 square inches of canvas, but I only needed a fourth of that, hence the leftover paint. Note that the silicone oil comes in a bottle the same size as the paint, and it is with the paint rather than being in the separate bag with the pouring medium. ... show more
