At first I was going to return it because it was for a garden gate with a door opening the other way. But then I found directions for it, and making it work for my heavy wooden door just required removing a bolt and rei=inserting the latching part on the other side. I used it to repair a heavy wooden garden gate in a pool fence and it did the job. Installation wasn't exactly easy but following directions and drilling the right size pilot holes made it a cinch to install even for an 80 year old amateur like me. ... show more
