I bought 3 of these a little over a month ago for my son and his friends for his game room. Two 48" and one 38" (gray fuzzy one). But I wish I had just gotten all extra large. They seemed fairly full when we first got them, but still had room to spare. For the most part, they hold their shape, but the more you use it, the less it stays the same. The gray fuzzy one (in pic) gets used almost daily and does seem flatter than when we first got it but your butt isn't touching the floor when you sit. The other ones are not used the same way. There are two separate pieces, a cover to wash, and a bean bag liner that holds all the beans. It does help keep the beans in, as I've only found literally 1 from all three over a month and a half, but the bean bag and cover shift with use. You can't tell really and I don't mind since you can add and take out beans, which I think they have beans sold separately, or borrow from others. The zipper on the slip cover is very sturdy and opens almost halfway around. The zipper on the bag liner is good enough but not the same quality. You don't feel it while sitting. There is a fabric flap that folds over the zipper on the cover. Extra large/48" is big enough for an adult to use. The 38" chair is a good size for my 12 year old son. It's fairly easy to get the slip cover on and off, my son put these together (they come separately in the box. I haven't tried washing the slip cover, only spot cleaned, as the patterned material seems like it could fade in the wash as it's only printed on one side. Not sure how the fuzzy fabrics do in the wash. The patterned material is a little coarse but seems like they are durable and will last. The fuzzy fabrics are super soft. I would suggest the fuzzy fabrics for kids but I like the look of the patterned fabrics. There's a nifty handle that's sturdy and I stack them against the wall when not in use. Overall a great buy and would recommend them. The only downside is I wish they came with a little bit more beans to help keep the shape for longer. Got three of these for the kids for Christmas and barely even February hits and theyโ€™re already flat. Quality of the beans definitely need to be upgraded by this company and theyโ€™d be perfect.

You will have to remove half of the filling to make it nice comfortable enough to sit on. Not a bad problem to have. It could definitely fill a whole other beanbag the amount we had to remove. Overall satisfied!

Too small for 4.5yo, 40in tall, 40lbs I ordered based on the product's recommended size and it's far too small for comfortable sitting. My son spends more time resting against it while sitting on the floor or sprawled on top than using the beanbag for it's intended purpose. To be clear, he does try to sit on it and can do so for a few minutes when looking at a book, but for actual play with extended sitting/resting (in his tent or while watching TV) it is not comfortable. Also, it is February and my son received this for Christmas. In less than 60 days with him using the beanbag 1-2x a week for probably less than an hour each time, it has lost more volume than expected. He's not rough on his items, either, so I'm a bit disappointed with that. However, the canvas is lovely (grey with stars) and I like that I can wash it if necessary. I'll be buying something much larger next time. This is probably best suited for a young toddler, not preschool or older. ... show more
