  • Life-saver, sturdy, great performance, and versatile/adaptable!
Terrific chair for patients requiring mobility. Our neighbor added a rack on the back for my husband's three oxygen tanks (each3 ft tall), and this is chair is so sturdy, he feels safe and the added weight does not drain battery at all. We could not be more pleased with this chair, have it used for about a year, and highly recommend. Very easy to turn on both carpet and hard surfaces. The chair's dual batteries make our life easier, because we always have a back up. It also handles rough terrain (high school football field) and we never lost traction. Very comfortable, but also seat is a standard size for someone wanting additional padding. Portability is wonderful because we didn't have to buy a chairlift for our car or truck -- fits in either goes right in the back, and even the wife with lift it! ... show more

  • Great chair to assist with independence!
We purchased this wheelchair for my 91-yr old father in July 2019. He is in assisted living and wanted to be able to go to the dining room, get his newspaper, without being exhausted in the process getting to the elevator and going down hallways. This chair has been perfect since he is in control, can move quickly in this chair. It is lightweight and turns easily. This chair has been a lifesaver for him to have his independence, and for us to not have to worry about him (and deal with service/functioning issues). He hasn’t had any issues with the battery life or being able to go all day on the charge. The joystick and controls have been easy for him to operate, and an easy plug-in for daily charging. These things are especially important since it is hard to problem solve and communicate when due to COVID there are lockdown issues. When we first received the chair, we had questions on setup and operation. When we called customer service, we got a human on the line and were able to take care of whatever we needed. We recently contacted them to find out about a lift chair and we may need to get more functions after a stroke and they asked us to write a review. He has been very satisfied with all aspects of this chair. ... show more

  • Life changing for my spouse
Let me start by saying a few years ago we took a trip to Greece and I pushed my wife in her wheelchair all the way up to the Parthenon. Travelling with a wheelchair is no easy task for both the infirm and the manual labor needed to get them around. We have been limited in places we can go due to my wife's physical limitations and my physical limitations on being able to push. After much research on different models, I settled on this Ranger. After 6+ mos of use, let me tell you this has been a life changer! My wife tells me all the time now, she feels she has her freedom back. No longer does someone need to push her around stores, the mall nor do I need to sprint across multiple airline terminals with bags and pushing a manual wheelchair anymore. TBH...she usually leaves ME behind now..... I would recommend some velcro straps to hold closed, especially if flying. I use two of these on the top handle and foot rest to secure. If travelling by air, remove the control handset before giving off to the airline to store under the plane. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NZQ9942/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Battery life has been impressive. With smaller trips, we did not have to charge but once a month in the beginning. For longer day trips (6+hrs of constant going) I would recommend overnight re-charge. Off roading on grass has been fine, just a slight hang up with some gravel areas if on an incline. Easy to adjust and get out of those spots with a push. I would be really interested in spare battery options, and some type of portable (or even better, solar) charging device. PROS: folds down to the size of a smallish suitcase. fits easily into car or SUV trunk long battery life CONS: still weighs 67lbs Does not easily stay self folded ... show more

  • A very sturdy and capable motorized wheelchair!
This wheelchair is just what we were looking for. It is powerful, capable, and comfortable. The large wheels allow access to areas other chairs simply cannot go - over rough ground or door thresholds or even snow and gravel. The arms raise to allow for better riding comfort as well as access to the seat. Finally, the construction is sturdy and the motor is powerful. As constructive criticism, I might suggest a hinge be added to the foot rest such that it would fold in on itself one more time. As designed, when folded, the footrest extends above the seat making it difficult for the user to sit. We have the footrest modified to add a hinge at the curve of the footrest to allow it to fold a second time thus reducing the folded height making mounting/dismounting a little more comfortable. This is a minor negative, but something to consider. In the end, we are quite happy with the chair purchase. Thanks. ... show more

  • It solves a major problem!
This mobility chair has changed my life. I can get around in my house a lot easier and quicker than before. I have MS and I needed something to help me maneuver in the evenings, when my energy level is low. My rollator walker works fine for me in the morning and afternoon, but not after 4 p.m. I am 5 ft. tall and I need to place a pillow behind my back to sit up straight. It’s designed for taller folks. The seat is okay but more padding would be nice. The chair beeps loud when backing up and that can be annoying. I called the manufacturer and there is a way to silence the noise. Customer Service is great. I had trouble charging the chair when I first got it and they walked me thru the process. They also will be sending the noise silencer too. Overall this chair is not difficult to operate and it’s cute! I don’t recommend sitting on it all day. It’s not designed for that. It folds easily and fits into the trunk. I think it will be great for travel. I’m spending approximately 3-5 hours at a time in this chair and I’m charging it every other day. Good purchase! I would order again from these guys. ... show more
