I have to say I was taking a risk by buying this chair. I am quite a bit over the weight limit for this chair. (at least 100 pounds) I had to take the chance because I wanted a light weight chair that could fold. The ones for my size were weighing around 200 pounds. That being said, I am extremely happy with the chair. It is actually holding up under my weight and performing well. Now I have only had the chair for a couple of weeks, and I don't use it on a daily basis. I use it about 5 days a week for about 20 minutes a day. It goes up inclines very well as long as I am using full power. It rides and turns very well. It folds very easily and is easy to pick up and put into the back seat of my truck. The batteries are very easy to remove and charge. You can charge them while they are in the chair or remove them from the chair and charge them separately! I'm very happy that I am now much more mobile. I can actually make it to my kid's activities without immense pain! I definitely recommend this chair!! ***UPDATE*** 12/5/19 The chair is still amazing! It’s been about 3 months. It is still holding up under my weight. The batteries are holding up well considering they have to work harder due to my size. I still highly recommend this chair for those with mobility issues!!! ... show more

Ladies and Gentlemen The Porto Mobility Ranger Spacepro powered electric wheelchair has dramatically enhanced my life by providing me a new independence. I have been able to participate in rewarding activities that I could not, before acquiring your Ranger Spacepro. I visit family, take courses at Penn State, enjoy the cinema and theater, attend social and public events. I am now able to live a “normal life Your Ranger Spacepro offers many advantages: • The batteries have a very long life. I have needed to recharge them only twice since it was delivered on August 25, 2022. • The Ranger Spacepro is light, only 43 pounds after removing the batteries. It is made from space-age polymer rather than metal. • The Ranger Spacepro is therefore easily lifted in and out of the trunk of my automobile by most adults. • I am able to lift the Ranger Spacepro on my own in and out of the trunk of my automobile with your telescopic motor powered hoist. • Both the Ranger Spacepro electric powered wheelchair and the telescopic powered hoist collapse for easy storage together in my automobile trunk. The wheelchair is made of space age Carbon Fiber which weighs a remarkably light 43 pounds. The wheelchair is easily carried by most adults including our son who is looking after my wife and myself. We are in our late eighties. I am unable to lift the wheelchair by myself. I have purchased your Hercules wheelchair lifter which makes it possible for me to load the wheelchair in and out of the back of our SUV. The wheelchair lifter weighs 25 pounds and is light enough for me to load and unloaded it from our SUV. Your Ranger Spacepro motorized wheelchair has given me the independence to transport my wife and myself to our medical physicians, shopping, and family.     • A couple design flaws

First I’ll say that this is definitely a good quality, well made, chair. It should be for the price. It’s very comfortable to sit in and has a good amount of power. It’s easy to get in and out of. The foot rest is comfortable and a nice size. The battery seems to go for a nice long time/distance. An issue I have with this chair, is the front wheels. They should be larger or made more out of a softer rubber material. More pneumatic. The way they are now, If you approach a small lip or bump that it has to go over sometimes it will stop cold! I almost tipped over one time while using it outside. I had it stop cold and spin me in a circle when one of the front wheels went into a small divet. A design flaw it has, is when someone goes to push you in the chair. The bar they use to push it, is also the bar that folds the chair. You have to push back with your back to keep from being folded in half if you are on any type of hill, etc. When I got it home and couldn’t lift it up into my vehicle alone we decided to weigh it. It isn’t 43 lbs as it states. It’s closer to 63 lbs. I can lift 63 lbs but with the bulk of this chair, I can’t lift it into my suv alone. It takes a bit to get used to the way it steers. With only one back wheel turning and the other locking to turn, I’ve had a hard time turning in a tight circle if the floor is too smooth. It definitely does better when the tires have something to grip or dig into, when turning. I am very happy I ordered this chair, and like it. But I can’t give it the full 5 stars because of the reasons I listed and the price I paid for it. ... show more
