  • Disappointment Correction
One of my medications has always been very difficult for me to access. I got this device thinking it would work. It didn't. Even using all my strength, I couldn't break through. It ended up breaking the pill up. It may work for other medications, but for this particular medication it was useless. Updated 10/9/23 I thought I had used the device correctly as there wasn't any instructions. As this medication is only weekly, I tried it again but the opposite way and it worked perfectly. So instead of trying to push the medication through the plastic; use the plunger on the plastic side and it works fine. My mistake was thinking the plastic part needed to be in the cut out portion part to work. Very sorry for the confusion. ... show more

  • Pill remover
Did not like. Should have sent back. Hard to use and did not work on large Imodium pill package. It crushed the pills

  • Quick & Easy!
This is great for anyone who has arthiritis or struggles with strength in their hands. So convenient to be able to just press and pop a pill safely into this device and then flip a little door and easily retrieve the pill. Perfect gift for the elderly!

  • Works on small, medium, and some larger round tablets, and small oblong tablets
The media could not be loaded. This product easily removed my tablets from their blister packs. It isn't hard to press them out. It takes much less effort, than doing it myself. It also has a place to catch the pills. So, they don't just fall out. I tested it on some small round and oblong tablets, and it worked well. The oblong tablets are doubles in each blister. It wouldn't remove two together, without breaking one of them. So, I think it's only meant for single pill blister packs. It might work on some medium oblong tablets. But, it won't work for large oblong tablets. It should work with small, medium, and most larger round tablets. I did attach a video, showing how it works. I attached some pics, too. I also tried to show some measurements in the video, and pics, too. In the video, I also showed some large sizes of cold and flu softgels in blister packs, that won't fit. The writing on the package is Chinese. So, I don't know if softgels are supposed to be used with it. I was only trying to show their size as an example, since I don't have any large oblong tablets in blister packs. Overall, I'm happy with it. Though, I do wish it worked with large oblong tablets. There are some cold and flu meds that come in oblong tablet form. Someone in our house usually ends up taking cold/flu meds each season. They can be really hard to remove. This product seems to be made fairly well. If taken care of, it should last a long time, since it doesn't seem to take a lot of force to remove pills with it. I do recommend it. ... show more

  • Effective for most, but not all, blister packs and pill types
There's something important to understand when using this. Not all blister packs are designed for popping. some blister packs are especially designed to ONLY be peeled, and the foil paper backing is multi layered to prevent popping. This is usually the case for pills that are very fragile, such as tablets meant to dissolve quickly under the tongue. This pill popper device won't work on those types, actually no pill popper will. For blister packs with thin foil or paper backings, this works great! The catch cup holds multiple pills so you can do a few at once. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ... show more

  • Does what's on the label
It's frustrating that so many manufacturers place pills in blister packs that are absurdly hard to open. I have enjoyed having this on hand for some of my smaller pills (laxatives, decongestants), but as others have mentioned it doesn't seem to work very well on larger medications. Seems like the manufacturer might want to offer this in two sizes, packaged together. Other than that I have no complaints on its efficacy and would probably order this again. ... show more

  • Pill Popper for Popping Pills
Nothing is more annoying that having to pop some pills from their protective pouches. This pill popper works if done correctly. You need to orient the pill packets so the hard plastic of the packet faces up and the pill then once freed goes into the cup of the pill popper and doesn't fly all over the place once freed. It took me a little while to figure out how to use this gadget, so I speak from experience. I was a little worried that my pills would crush. ... show more
