Good portable solar panel. The battery wasn't listed in the description but looks like any DC in will work. So Walmart Swiss tech compatible. Direct sunlight is getting about 40w input. Max when I was plugged in AC was 45w so this is doing a pretty good job. Small Con is it is very floppy if trying to rest it on something other than a large object, and the array likes to be exactly laid out line for best wattage. Using a rope or string to hang it on and direct it would work the best. You can't curve it slightly into a C to make it freestanding. ... show more

I purchased this solar panel specifically for charging battery banks. I own several battery banks that have a small solar panel in them, but it takes days, if not a week to charge them to full capacity. Using this 20A Solar panel, I was able to charge that same battery bank in 1 day. It possibly could have charged it quicker if it weren't a mid October day. (due to the lower angle of the sun and shorter time of available daylight in the fall.) I like that it's foldable, lighweight and can fit into a backpack. I'll be buying more. ... show more

I bought the 20W panel and it works great as an emergency backup to put enough power on my phone or a Garmin satellite messenger should I forget my battery bank or if it runs out of power. It can charge them all the way up given enough time, but I am mostly interested in getting enough power on these devices from my solar panel to get an emergency call out if a day hike goes awry. ... show more

Straight out the box I'm getting 75 peak watts in this Texas sun. Thought I'd only get about 60 watts from what others have said, That's Texas for ya. Pretty satisfied so far, will keep yall updated long term... Update: Managed to get 79 watts around noon time the next day...
