I ordered a set of these mugs a few months ago when my 95 year old Mom moved into her independent living apartment. The flat, wide base makes them very stable, and they are easy for her to hold and are not too heavy for her. She loves them, as do I. In fact, I recently ordered a set for myself. They are a pretty, creamy, slightly off-white, not a bright white. They match my Villeroy and Boch Artesano dishes perfectly, and I like these every bit as much as the Artesano mugs. Plus, I got 4 of these mugs for the price of one of the Artesano mugs. Win! Both sets of the Teocera mugs arrived quickly and were carefully packaged. None were broken or chipped. + Pros: These cups are stylish and look great in photos. Good handle. I like weight distribution. - Cons: In terms of durability, I've seen better. Out of eight cups I had bought, one cracked from the boiling water during tea brewing, which is not a pleasant user experience.

My husband wanted a cup that was a little larger than the ones we have. He always heats the cups in simmering water before making either pour over or French press coffee. That was scratching the sides of the cups but I thought maybe it would not be as noticeable with the black exterior. The insides are different colors that make it nice for knowing which one is yours beside the fact that they are very bright bold and beautiful colors! They are non-toxic , big handle for easy holding and they stack without being tilted. We have searched high and low for this specific shape cup (which we found out is called Crescent shape) due to having one cup from a coffee shop this shape and loving it and finally found it! We ordered these cups immediately and have loved having this set. The price is unbeatable and these are the perfect sized tea cups. The shape is so great for holding by the cup or the handle.
