I have to say, I have a stray gone queen over night when we rescued her off the street who is VERY picking and I mean...the things you think she would be into, she's not and vice versa but you can't get her love for nature out of her (of course) so we wanted her to enjoy being on the deck instead of just the window or take a tent with us into a park and since she hates her backpack (getting used to it) and despise her harness/leash I figured I'll try this. When we got to our destination we kept her food and travel litter box in it to keep her things in one central location at our families home. It took about a week for my cat to get used to this. I left it out in my apartment for a week for him to get used to the smell and the idea of it. Once he was used to it, I zipped him in for just a few minutes at a time. And then eventually I was able to put him on the back porch of my apartment. I sit out there with him and he listens to the sounds of nature and birds. It is a good way and a safe way for a kitty to be outside. It is fairly dark netting and I wish it was lighter in color. I bought this so our bearded dragon could come outside with us with no worries of predators or losing him. It took me forever to decide between this one and several others I had in my lists. These things are typically pretty flimsy with junky netting, in my opinion, and I usually found myself wishing I hadn’t wasted my money when I used them previously with kittens. But… this thing is awesome. All the seams are sturdy, the netting is way better than I expected, the bottom layer is nice and thick, the zippers are solid, it comes with spikes so it can be safely fastened to the ground… it’s a bit of a pain to collapse and put away, but I don’t even care. Tried to temporarily contain my 5 month old curtain-climber inside; he never ripped out of it, but it did bounce and roll all over the place with kitty inside--couldn't stake it. Finally gave up and it became a jungle-gym bouncy-house for him, and he loves it! Dive bombs into the side of it and bounces off, slides off the top like a seal, hides toys under it and then tries to wriggle under to get to them... I don't know that it would ever hold him in one place for long, but he sure is finding it entertaining. For that alone, it is worth the price. ... show more
