I liked the first one I bought so much I bought a 2nd one. I'm about to have two under two, so I wanted one for inside and outside that I could easily pop up and put away. I ordered a less expensive one, but it obviously was not as great quality and felt like the plastic would snap within a few uses. This one is sturdy and has a zip door to get baby in and out or pick them up over the side. If you need something I side that will stay up mostly permanently then there are good less expensive options, but if you plan on putting out and then away and want something that will last, then this is the way to go. Ease of assembly was a bit rough at first because the locking part was difficult to push down, and once down before we could "lock" it in place it bounced back. Just received this Pop n Go playpen and we are delighted with it. Good quality materials, well made and sturdy. The California Beach Co. responded very quickly to a questions I had. After watching a couple of YouTube videos found it very easy to put up and take down, my wife manages with ease. Some reviews have said it is very difficult, even for large strong men. Well I can only suggest they may not be doing it correctly or have the material over the frame hinges. Other negative reviews have described how the stitching between the bottom of the sides and the base has pulled apart. I can sympathise with them and understand how this could have happen. In the centre of each of the six segments, the bottom edge of the material bows upwards approx. 2 1/2 inches, due to the tension it is under. Which means the perimeter of the base of the pen is off the ground. You can see this in most of the pictures of the pen, so any little feet treading on the edge of the base and pressing it down would put a lot of stress on the seams. It appears to me the upright legs are about 2 1/2 inches too long for the material of the pen when it is under tension.. From what I can see it would be a relatively simple task to shorten them and relieve this tension. Obviously this would invalidate the warranty. but might be worth considering to prevent any torn seams in the future It arrived at my house in the UK within 48 hours of being dispatched ....... big pat on the back to UPS. ... show more

I absolutely love having a pop up tent. We were in desperate need of somewhere to put our crawling baby to keep him from eating leaves and touching ant piles. A pop up rent was a must have. That being said, I’m unsure if THIS tent is a must have. There might be one just a good for cheaper, who knows, but there are a few design flaws with this one. 1. The bottom is not tarp lined. If you put the tent on dewy grass, it will get wet on the inside. 2. The ease of “popping up” the tent is exaggerated. As a 5’2 woman, I had to stand on a chair to push down on the tent and secure it. With more practice, I don’t need the chair, but it takes a lot of groaning and yanking in specific places not mentioned in the instructions. 3. For a tent for babies, there’s a surprising lack of thought on the design of the inside. There’s no hooks or loops to hang toys from for little-little ones, and no pockets for storage that are included in cheaper tents. 4. Putting the tent away is obnoxious. We don't even try, but just shove it half-folded into our shed. 5. There are no zipper pulls inside the tent, making it more difficult than necessary to open while sitting inside with your child. It’s possible with fingernails, but not a breeze. 6. It would be nice to have some way to “lock” the zipper so toddlers can’t open the tent. Holes in both zippers to tie them together with a string would be all it takes. Some pros: the height is great so you can sit inside with your child; the mesh is very breathable so you can enjoy the breeze ... show more

This was really great for my little granddaughter to be safe in the yard protected from the sun/bees and flying bugs. HOWEVER while the mesh holes are small to stop mosquitos it did NOT stop tiny ants from getting in and that itself upset her mom. so need to figure how to work around that!!!!
