I received this stick yesterday and have played 5 or 6 games with it so far. It seems to be well constructed, and it is quite beautiful. The case is nice. There was an empty bag in the pocket of the case which was supposed to contain some extra tips which makes me think this was a return. Not sure why because the stick appears to be in good shape. I'd give it 5 stars if the extra tips weren't missing, but I'm definitely keeping the stick. I think I'm going to love it. ... show more

I have played in pool leagues for the last six years and nobody I talked to had heard of this brand. I am a fan though. When it first arrived, I was surprised it actually came with a case which was nice, but I was even more surprised about how straight and how pretty this cue was. The media could not be loaded. Great starter cue for the novice player. I had higher expectations for this cue when I ordered it, and it even "wowed" me when I opened it. But the closer I looked, the less I was enthralled. It does come with a good case, so that's a plus. It looks very nice until you start looking at it closely. It's not bad for a discount cue stick, but I would think you could do better for this amount of money. Here are the 3 issues I have with this one: 1) It's advertised as wood-to-wood connection, but you can see from the pictures in the description that it not entirely true. There is wood visible on each joint, but the wood never comes together, so I wouldn't consider this a wood-to-wood joint. 2) If you look at the grain on the shaft of a quality cue stick, it would be both tight grained and straight grained. This stick was neither. 3) For this price point, I wasn't expecting a cue stick with authentic ingrained wood and stone. But I was expecting some a little better than this. If you look at the picture I submitted, you'll see they didn't even get the sticker or decal aligned properly. Low quality control. Overall it seems to be a good stick. Better than using a bar cue stick. But it seems a bit overpriced in my opinion. ... show more

I'm not a pool shark, but I play often and consider myself a decent shooter... and I really like this cue. First, it looks great... the design really is a beautiful stick. Second, it arrived straight and true and it really feels nice in the hand. The connection joint is tight and solid, and I really enjoy playing with it. The included carrying case is a nice touch, and I use it often to transport the cue the local bars to beat my friends at pool :) Overall, I'd say this is a good value for a very nice pool cue. Sure, you could spend A LOT more for a somewhat better cue, but few of us are really good enough at the game for it to truly make a difference. I'd recommend this cue for beginners (a good investment) all the way to intermediate players... if you're REALLY that good that a $1,000 cue makes a difference for you, then you probably should look elsewhere. I'm thrilled to add this cue to my collection, and would highly recommend it. ... show more
