I'm very happy with this set. To a casual player, the minor issues should not be a deal breaker and I definitely recommend this set. A little more details... The case has issues as other reviewers have mentioned. If I were to lock it, I'd be worried about it not unlocking, but it's a cheap poker chip set and there's really no need to lock it. The case had some wood pieces inside of it but nothing near as bad as the other reviews would have you believe and it cleaned up just fine. Dents? Check. Cheap? Check. Holds chips without issues? Check. It does what it needs to do so no negative points from me. The chips did not feel cheap to me -- a casual player. There are a couple that had minor chips in them but they have a pretty good weight to them and stack without issue. For what I paid for, I'm more than satisfied with these chips. Had a decent color to them. The cards are not the highest quality, but we were able to make it through a long weekend of poker with them. The cards had a slight bend in them when we were done. Pick up a different set of cards if you're going to be using this regularly. Picked this up to play with friends and had more than enough chips to go around for 6 people. If you have friends that will mock you for having a few chips with a piece of metal showing, this is not the case for you and you shouldn't be looking at cheap sets anyway. This is almost perfect. The case for it is VERY flimsy. That’s the only downside. Chips are great quality, I have a similar product that has the same chips, but a much much better case. The card that come on this chip set are not quality cards. The small, big blind and dealer button are pretty bad too. But this has great quality chips. I’ve only had them for a couple of days but like I said I have the same product from a different place. They last a very long time and look great after years of use. I do recommend you guys buy a quality chip case. And don’t plan on these two sets of cards to last you very long, they are typical paper cards. You need quality plastic playing cards instead. Just for the chips this set is worth the money. ... show more

The card set is definitely not worthy of playing continually if you are used to bicycle style cards. Otherwise the chips paint is holding up to consistent use though time will tell. I do wish the latches on the case were more hefty. I always have to double check before I try and lift it for fear of the chips falling out. ... show more

This chip is great, let me repeat - GREAT! This blew away my expectation! The case is secure, heavy duty and just plain heavy! It doesn't feel cheap at all. The chips have good weight and feel in your hands, great vibrant colors. Love this purchase!
