I bought this because I am new to wood working and I was doing my first project trying pocket holes. I didn't feel I 'deserved' a nice one, so I bought this for this price to try out. Comes with no instructions, I had to You tube everything to even get a general Idea how to use. From that, I realized it has no guide to tell you where to set your drill bit or no holes to mount it to a board. It does not fit a 2x4 and The knob to tighten it really hurt my hands to tighten. Because of these problems, it was really hard to do the holes properly. I finished my project but sent this back, which I rarely ever do returns. I usually chalk up bad buys to a learning lesson, but this one made me angry, it was missing several key components if your going to sell it as a real kit. I 'splurged' and got the Howard metal kit, ( which is only about twice the price). I used it last night and I am in LOVE! Fabulous instructions and so easy to use! Especially if your a beginner, this one is NOT the one for you! ... show more
