I have custom plates, they're glossy gold plates and I was hoping to show them off when the console was not in use, but this cover sticks horribly to my plates. While putting it on I immediately became worried about possible scratches and then the scary part was that I couldn't get it off of the console. I did manage to get it off within 5 minutes or so, but it's definitely not going back on and being returned. I assume if you matte or non-glossy plates this'll work better for you, although it is VERY TIGHT fitting on a disc version console. Also, for everyone that needs to hear this: A DUST COVER GETS REMOVED WHEN YOU'RE USING THE CONSOLE!!. IT WILL OVERHEAT AND EVENTUALLY DIE, CUZ YOUR SMOTHERING IT! ... show more

Have not bought this, but do not buy this. The system is designed to ventilate to the top of the system. If that's covered, that's not good.

This is a dumb idea. Do not sufficate your ps 5 by placing a plastic bag over it's hear. There are vents because it needs to breath or it will over heat and break.
