The media could not be loaded. Anyone who’s purchased a steam deck knows that you can’t skimp on protection for something that expensive. Enter these grip stickers featuring iconic Mt Fuji and a tranquil landscape of Japan (ok there were lots of cool designs but this one was my favorite). I wanted something that would let me game at my best while adding comfort and grip so I don’t drop my deck (I am butterfingers sadly). So far I haven’t dropped it since adding these so I’d say the performance is pretty great. Take your time when applying them and you’ll get a perfect fit easy. One of my stickers had a slight manufacturer defect and upon reaching out to the seller with an image, I got a replacement sent easy so I was also very satisfied with the customer service. No dust protection nor bubbles involved (this isn't a screen protector) and they stick on very easy and reliably (detailed instructions are included). Applying them doesn’t make the deck experience more or less noisy. They are super cheap so a great value even if you find they don’t change your experience in a significant way; I’d still recommend for peace of mind. ... show more

If I could give these 3.5 stars, I would. They are pretty good grips, with some imperfections just based on the curvature of the Deck grips and natural margins of error in application. The grip texture itself is great, I love the feel in the hands and really adds some texture and tiny bit of softness. The back and shoulder/trigger button grips are especially great feeling. I do like having these on, and will probably keep them since I love the feel more than the minor issues. Application is OK, there are no instructions but tells you to go get their video online which was helpful. I found that using a hair dryer for heat when smoothing the curves and edges REALLY helped. Even then, there are some minor imperfections in fit, and I find that the gaps (intended to allow for curves) do bother me a little bit, but sure I will get used to them. I think with some revisions to the fit and shapes, this product could be truly great, but for now it's pretty good at 4 stars. I did not experience any persistent smelly adhesive issues like other reviews. Just pretty normal new rubber/adhesive smell. ... show more

I really want to say this is a great product. It’s that it’s just so comfortable. The dual caps for the thumbsticks just add the right amount of comfort and no more slippy fingers. The trigger bottoms were good out of the box, but once you add these it just adds a premium feel. Also the best thing is that I messed up putting a grip on. Completely user error. I emailed customer service at 930 at night and woke up to a nice email back and will be getting the new grip. They did not have to do that at all. ... show more

The grips are nice but I ended up taking the touch pad covers off and throwing them away. I was worried when I put them on and sure enough, they really hindered the touch pad performance. They came off easily though and left no residue so I'm not too worried about eventually removing the rest when it's time to change things up. I'm pleasantly surprised by these grips. They were easy to apply and have some wiggle room for messing up the application. After playing with them on for a week, I decided I wanted to stretch out the corners a little more because I'd accidentally left a wrinkle, and even a week later, I could gently peel up a corner and reapply. The adhesive still sticks perfectly. This is personal preference, but these grips look most natural when you stretch and wrap them fairly tautly around the curves. It also helps you avoid wrinkles. As someone with tiny hands, these are more comfortable than a case, since they don't add as much bulk. They add just enough cushion while remaining low profile, and the grippiness is better than the smoother TPU of a lot of grip cases out there. ... show more

The trigger and bumper stickers work great, but every other peice included isn't. The joystick covers come off easily and don't allow for full touch controll in games such as Aperture desk job. The pad covers are very thick and will not allow the system to receive full data of finger position or input. The back paddles are finicky to install, but do give the buttons easier reach. The grips are beautiful, but with the thick cut my hands easily rub against the sharp points and peel off the sticker without much persuasion. Most of the stickers do not completely fit properly and the smell is just unbearable. ... show more

I had an issue. I wanted to add some grip and girth to the Steam Deck. I have big hands, the unit needs to be gripped in a non-traditional way and there's a lot more weight to hold for hours on-end than a Game Boy. I also got a free (very nice) carrying case with my order, so I didn't want anything that would make my Steam Deck not fit in it. It does indeed fit in the carrying case with this grip installed. Installation was a question mark that I eventually figured out the answer to. The video included on a link in the packaging is for the last version of this product, so the big side pieces (the only hard part) were my own calculation. I figured it out, it fits great, and it helps my massive hands hold my Steam Deck without it sliding. On the side pieces, there are gaps that feel super weird on your palms. That feeling went away for me and I don't notice it anymore, but I saw that one reviewer here cut up the track pad stickers and filled in the gap. I like the idea, I don't care enough to mod it in that way. All in all, I really like it. It is a very cheap and slim upgrade to an already miraculous device, and it DOES indeed still fit in the included case that came with my unit. ... show more
