Description

Classically-styled royal purple-stained true Birds-eye Maple forearm and butt with solid black genuine double-pressed Irish linen wrap, stainless steel joint collar and triple silver ring sets. Select North American hard rock maple is turned and dried seven times before being coated with Nelsonite, a patented wood stabilizer which protects the cue from changes in atmosphere. The final layers of epoxy and high-gloss "Super UV Finish" help provide the ultimate in moisture and warpage protection, while giving a beautiful finish that is protected against fading and chipping. A pro taper and French Cue Wax on the shaft allow for an extra smooth stroke. Quality "Le Pro" tips give excellent ball control. And every Players cue is Guaranteed 100% STRAIGHT!

Product was exactly as pictured with a very nice Royal Purple Stain but not received in weight I requested. These cues are available in diff weights (OZs) for diff users preferences but no option is available on ordering page to revise. Upon reading reviews, another person had an issue with that so a Customer Service Rep responded by saying to just send them a quick message requesting the weight you wanted after ordering. Unfortunately, they don't make it easy and put some kind of link to do just that so I tracked down the companies website and emailed their Customer Service within an hour after ordering to specifically request the 20 Oz option. Yup... as anticipated, received the 19 ounce instead. Also, no paperwork or tags to prove that this is indeed a Players Cue for warranty purposes. ... show more

    • Poor staining job.
I bought this pool cue for my girlfriend as a gift. I am on a pool league team and my girlfriend is at every session, every event every time. So I let her pick out a cue that she liked so I could return the favor for all her support. She said it had to be a purple stained wood grain look, functionality didn’t quite matter. This cue looked amazing in the pictures and it was a hands down decision. However, when this cue arrived it looked as though the stain was done very poorly or as if there wasn’t enough stain to finish the bottom support. The purple coloring is not vibrant at all, and in some areas the original wood color stands out more than the purple staining. I am very displeased as this was supposed to be an exciting gift, and turned out the exact opposite. The forward shaft is great and the Irish linen wrap is ok but the whole reason we got this cue was for the vibrant coloring the picture had shown us and it seems we got the one with the worst stain job ever. ... show more

I just got this in today and it is gorgeous! I'm in love with the color! It's straight as an arrow and well balanced. I haven't played with it yet, but I'm very much a beginner; I think this will be all I need.

Have not been able to bang some balls yet. But, the protaper and the Birdseye are no let down. Players have alwas given players a quality cue. This one is no exception.
