It is all plastic but i was aware of that so I am not sure about the durability for a 6 year old but will see how sturdy it is once he plays with it. Spaces big enough to fit almost all hot wheel sizes. Detachable trailer and fun to play with. The plastic frame did crack after a couple of play sessions.

The fact the cars can be put back in the semi and stored and he can drive it around until he’s ready to unload the cars. He thought it was so neat. His face lite up when he opened it

My 3 year old grandson loves his truck and cars. I sent it for his birthday and he just loved it. My son said it was made of hard plastic that would hold up to him opening and closing the door and playing. Grandson also loved the cones and barrels and could set up roadblocks. Overall it was a hit.
