I saw some other reviews that have since the service. I suspect there are some fake reviews here. There are two types of axles that come in the bag. The ones that work with the smaller tiny wheels work great. None of the axles work with the bigger wheels. That is probably the reason most people buy this set. The small black axles with a T shape at the end do not latch into the wheels and they are not long enough to reach an attachment piece. If you put them in the wheels backwards they would probably attach to a piece but there is still the problem that they do not click into the wheels at all. There’s no way to keep them on. There are two choices. You could’ve superglue them into the wheel backwards and they would probably connect to the included pieces. I went onto a website called toy Pro and was able to buy replacement pieces for Lego technic. Then they might fit into the included pieces or I bought some other connection pieces to the axle. It doesn’t work great but it works OK. The cost for the replacement axles when I got them was only about $.12 each and the other connection pieces were very cheap as well. The only thing that was a bit pricey was five dollars for shipping. I bought 35 axles and 36 different connection pieces for about $12 without the shipping. I plan to superglue the replacement axles into the wheel to see if they work. This is a reasonable fix as long as the superglue is able to pull the wheels together. I included photos of the black axles that are a problem and the gray replacement axles that I used Along with the replacement pieces. Hope this helps make your decision easier. Fine product for 15.95 when ordered in January. Comes with only one set of each color shutters so would need 2 sets if you want to have 2 windows match. Was going to order another but price keeps marching up daily and is now 26.95. It's not worth that price for just the windows and doors (all the other small pieces don't get used as there aren't enough to create something). They fit just a bit tighter than Lego, but still work well with them. ... show more

Overall a nice set for its value..fits well to lego parts. Satisfied with the number and selection of tire and axle parts. I really like the special parts like the engine hood blowers and the exhaust tips. My only complaint is they should include more fenders. There are no fenders for the larger wheels just the tiny ones. ... show more

    • Total Rip Off! All Large Wheels Are Completely Unusable.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! As another reviewer noted, none of the larger wheels (which was the main reason for buying this set) work with the axles provided. The small wheels work fine with the axles, all of which are small. There are "extenders" that go on to the small axles that are meant to allow the larger tires to work. There are 2 major issues with this: 1) The larger wheels do not freely move as the small wheels do on the smaller axles (i.e., you cannot use your finger to spin the larger wheels-the extender axle will fit, but is too wide to allow the wheel to easily turn); 2) The wheel and extended axle piece almost immediately disconnect from the smaller axle the moment you try to move a car or whatever you have built that has wheels. This was a complete waste of money. On top of that, I have a very disappointed child who wanted larger wheels and is relegated to using only the small wheels. If these were not already mixed in with my son's larger Lego collection, I would return it. All the positive reviews must be a scam or something because there is no way anyone could be happy with this product. I wish I could give it NEGATIVE 5 stars because it is so terrible. ... show more

Not terribly impressed with these. I purchased for the roof pieces, but as it turns out, while there are a ton of door and window frames, there are very few roof pieces. So, if you need a lot of doors and windows, this might be a good set for you. If you are looking for roof pieces, look elsewhere.

Purchased this set for my 7 year old son. My boys love to build Lego trucks and cars, upon opening the bag and sorting the pieces, we noticed that there were ZERO axles for the big tires. On top of that we had an uneven amount of tire parts. We had extra rims on one size and no rubber tires for others. The big tire sets are almost worthless and unusable which is a big disappointment. Not a big discrepancy in doors and widows like others had mentioned and their reviews. Overall it was nice to receive some windshields and car parts but there did not seem to be enough to complete more than three cars. ... show more

This is a great add on set for building blocks! My son loves the variety of tires that came with this set. The axles leave a bit to be desired though since they’re so narrow for the most part. Some of the tires are designed so that the part you would think goes on the outside of the vehicle has to be up against the vehicle you’re making. For a boy that just builds random off-road vehicles this isn’t a big deal, but it might bother a more detail oriented builder. ... show more

I have two sons, so I got this plus the wheels and axels, windows and doors, and 6 base plates, so that my sons have many options and not fight over anything.
