  • Definitely works on certain plastic
I bought this glue originally to repair the clear vinyl windows on a snow blower enclosure and it work great. I have continued to buy it for numerous repairs that involve what I call soft flexible plastic elements such as shoes, covers for grills and implements, ripped popup camper enclosure, any flexible vinyl or plastic parts and it has worked very well, so I always want it to be in my collection of glues at all times. My only complaint is that it is not readily available in the big box and hardware stores in my area so that I do not have to go online to get it. This is not an all purpose glue, but works very well on items that it is designed for. ... show more

  • Tonneau Cover Fixed
I torn a 4 x 4 inch rip in my pick-up's tonneau cover needed to get it repaired. I went to an upolstery repair guy and his advice was to just replace the entire ~$500.00 cover with a new one. Not what I wanted to hear. I then got on You Tube and found How-To videos using Plasti Dip Vinyl Repair. I was sceptical if a $4.00 purchase would work but worth a try to avoid a $500.00 purchase. I used backing tape to hold the vinyl in place and filled the seam with Plasti Dip. Took me about 5 mintues. It's been 3 months since the repair and it's holding up perfectly. Awesome product. ... show more

  • Needs more detailed instructions
More detailed instructions might have helped make the end result more satisfying. The paste seems to work well but the overall appearance was smoother with the cracks than the smears that were left upon finishing.

  • Awesome
Use this on my boat upholstery where the seam was starting to come apart. Ran this glued down The entire seam/stitching and it’s holding up amazingly well.

  • Works great
Works great! I had a tear in my car "pleather" seat. There was no way to bring the torn edges together, so I just put a dab on the under-cloth, and pressed the flap down. After about an hour or so, I spread more around the edges of the tear. The end result doesn't leak great, but it looks a heck of a lot better than a flap of pleather. And the tear won't be getting any larger any time soon. The only thing I would say bad about it is that the liquid is not viscous enough. Very runny. So be very careful when you use it the first time. You may even want to practice on a piece of paper until you are used to how easy it comes out of the tube. ... show more

  • Useless and non-returnable
This product is useless. It did absolutely nothing for the scratches in my linoleum. AND it’s not returnable because “it’s flammable”. Wasn’t it flammable when it was sent to me? This return policy makes no sense and allows the seller to sell inferior products while giving the consumer has no recourse. ... show more
