I needed a new display. Only having a RTX 3060, I was going to stick with 1920x1080 and 24 inches. I spent quite amount of time looking for a display that had everything I wanted in it, mainly the res, size, and being height adjustable were deal breakers, and ideally wanted speakers and pivoting. I preferred IPS but VA wasn't totally out of the question. I knew the Monitors Unboxed YouTube channel seemed to like Pixios somewhat for this range and they tested fairly well, so I looked at them but was disappointed their recommended PX248 Prime Advanced didn't have height adjustment. Purely by chance I looked at the Pixio product page and saw the PX248 Pro listed, I hadn't seen this model listed when I searched for 24" 1080 displays on Amazon. I found it by searching by name and was happy to see it ticked all the boxes. Even better, I waited another week and Pixio had a sale, making the PX248 Pro only $135! So that sealed the deal and I ordered. The stand for the display seems very sturdy, made of metal with plastic covering. Well made for the price. The package included a 1.5m (nearly 5 feet) DP cable (I ended up ordering my own because I wanted just a little more cable) and uses a "wall wart" type AC adapter for power. You might have to plan for that if you don't have the free space for an adapter, though it was fine for me. The screen arrived with zero pixel defects. The red seems a tad strong, I adjusted it down a little for me, but the colors look good. The cons - a few things kept it from me giving it a 5 star. The speakers are terrible. My previous display had speakers and I used them all the time, they sounded pretty decent. These ones, I'd have to say barely usable. Fine for system noises, but not so much media. So I'm having to pull out an old pair of good speakers from retirement to use again. The screen does have some light bleed in the bottom corners, this is what made me consider if I was going to send the display back the most. I've decided it's not something that reminds me it's there, so I can live with it, especially for the price. And don't forget to turn the brightness down after you get it, as usual for tv/displays, it comes nearly maxed. There's a few minor esthetics I'd have liked changed, I'm not crazy with the power light being on the right side of the display and more importantly that it blinks amber when in stand-by (why blinking?? Just make it solid on) and I don't like that there's no dedicated power button. If you want to turn off the display, you have to press and hold the multi-function button for 3ish seconds (the instructions weren't clear on this, just that you could turn it off with it). It's not something I'll need to do often, but once in a long while I may leave the computer on to do something overnight and I want to make sure the display won't turn on. So overall, I'd say a good display for $169, a great one for $135. The PX248 Pro is a good, cheap gaming display. Just don't plan to rely on the speakers. ... show more

Llego relativamente rápido a Colombia y el paquete bien protegido No habia escuchado de la marca Pixio y tengo que decir que el primer contacto que tuve me dio buenas impresiones. El monitor cumple con lo descrito ips 144hz. Acerca del peso, es muy liviano lo mas pesado es el soporte del monitor, y sobre el soporte no es tan incomodo como pense de igual forma siempre es recomendable el brazo vesa. Por el resto me quedo contento el monitor dentro de sus software trae perfiles personalizables, varias opciones de configuración de color, saturación, temperatura , gamma etc. En general un muy buen monitor por su precio ... show more

For the use I give it, it has performed well. It is light and with thin frames, good colors and the ability to configure to taste. The speakers do not sound clear. I'm not sure if it's normal for it to take a while to turn on when booting the operating system, but that's what I consider to be having a way to compare it to other monitors. Bought this on sale for $199.99. For that price it's a bargain with strong performance. Not as smooth as my Asus monitor but way cheaper and was able to pull the full 280hz and it still maintain a quality image. The Asus monitor is just a little smoother with images. I tested it against my Asus both on Overwatch at 280 fps. Asus monitor is closer to the $400 area, but can get it when it goes on sale for a little over $300. So is minimal smoothness and I believe 3 inches in screen size worth the money to some maybe. Overall great budget monitor for someone new to the pc gaming world.     • Pretty Good, a couple flaws

I ordered two of these and overall I’m happy with them. They look nice, were very easy to setup, and are functional. There are a couple flaws though: 1. Even though I ordered two of the exact same monitor, one stands about 2cm taller than the other. Very strange and mildly annoying. 2. There is no way to hide the cables due to where the ports are and how the stand functions. Again, mildly annoying as I like to hide cables, but for the price, I won’t gripe too much. Have been using this monitor for a few weeks and its great. Good refresh rate and quality picture. I play fighting games and I don't notice any tearing or lag like I get from my tv screen. The built in speakers aren't great but its nice having them there and I always use headphones anyway. Theres no freesync amd feature but thats not a deal breaker. Solid monitor overall ... show more

Great starting monitor for anyone needing something a little cheaper. Does have an odd angle to it so it looks much better when it is sat up on something.
