It can cast a jig a mile and can also cast lighter baits with ease by adjusting the spool tension. It works well,throws a weightless senko very well. Easy to adjust and.Slightly larger then other baitcasters i have used but not to bad. Casts and reels smooth. Drag is good as well. Not heavy either.

I have two of these reels and they work great! The adjustments are consistent and smooth, unlike the reels I purchased at Walmart. You still need to learn how to properly use a baitcaster to avoid backlash.

The price is appropriate for what you get with this reel. If you are a beginner, this is a really good reel to start with. It works really well. It does not compare to higher quality reels, though.
