This is a good old Pioneer brand photo album that has been available for decades. I already have one exact same size (different brand) full of finished coloring postcards & needed another one. I realize cards are much heavier than photo paper, but I can only fit 54 pages with 2 cards per pocket for a total of 324 cards in order to close FLAT. I also want to say that I REMOVED all the dividing paper from each pocket, so with those left in, I doubt if it would hold even 40 pages (240). It suits my needs, but I'm removing 1 star for incorrect information. ... show more

I have used these type of photo albums for many years. They are not the absolutely sturdiest you can buy, but for the price they are pretty darn good and they hold a lot of pictures. With 3 grandbabies and another on the way I take a lot of photos.

    • The most economical way to store tons of pictures

I bought 10 of these photo albums 5 in red and 5 in blue. Long story short, I had roughly 22K pictures on my computer that I wanted to sift through printing out what was worth printing. These albums look and feel great on a coffee table or book shelf, the one thing that's worth mentioning is that when turning the pages you really have to turn them one or two pages at a time. If you don't do that the 3 ring bindings are likely to pop open letting all the pages spill out, you could try to tape the bindings shut if that bothered you enough, but it's a small inconvenience for what is otherwise a really nice photo album. If you are doing a large photo project I would recommend getting an extra album, at this price it makes sense to have the extra photo sleeves on hand incase one rips or gets damaged over time. ... show more

I have 7 of these & I love them. I was looking back at the listing because I couldn’t remember how many pages came with each album. The picture above shows an album with about 40 pages with 6 pictures per page. So ~ 240 pictures (5” X 7” size photos) It doesn’t come with 84 sheets to hold 504 pictures! Maybe that means 84 pages would fit in the album. I had to buy additional sheets to make 40 sheets per book and, from the 2nd picture you can tell, I haven’t filled the 6th one yet, the 7th one is empty & I have only 12 sheets left. There is no way this album could hold 504 photos. 84 sheets (pages) would fit it in but not with photos in the slots. Don’t get me wrong-I love these albums but the math just doesn’t add up. Also the sturdiness of the rings is taxed at the 40 page amount. The pages “slump” & at times can come loose from the rings. (See 3rd photo) Al in all I think they are really nice. Of you think these with get a lot of handling/lots of page turning use fewer pages or it might not be sturdy enough. This might not work in that situation. ... show more
