This is one of the best ski pants I've ever bought. The trousers are well made, look stylish and have a lot of practical design points. The water resistance of the pants is very good. It is indeed waterproof, I tested them with the faucet in the bathroom and the pants looked wet on the outside but were actually dry inside. At the same time, I noticed that all the zippers on the pants are waterproof, which has me already starting to imagine a wonderful ski trip. The detachable strap design is also a brilliant idea. Unlike other ski bibs, it is held in place very well and will never move easily. As a final note, the pants are so warm that I started sweating shortly after wearing them indoors, so I unzipped the thigh vents and it cooled me off quickly. ... show more

These are the best and most comfortable snow pants I've ever owned. I would give a 5 star except for a couple very minor points. I'm thinking I might buy a second pair just in case I can't find these same pants when they eventually need to be replaced. I'm 5' 11" with a 33" waist and the size Medium fits me perfectly. The suspenders are a nice addition but I didn't even need them and took them off. Lots of pockets with high quality zippers and love the articulated knee which surprisingly is not standard on all snow pants. I hike and snowshoe a lot and I never feel constrained in the leg wearing these pants. What I don't like is the waist closure of snap/slider/velcro. I don't really see the advantage of that and it makes me have to "think" every time I close or open the waist. Two vertically aligned snaps is all that is needed and I would even dispense with the velcro which I personally think should be banned from all outdoor gear and clothing. But that's my own quirk. The slider and snap combo though seems pointless. In any case, this is a relatively trivial matter and may not be an issue for the majority of users. The only other thing I would change is to add a snap at the bottom of the zipper closure on the cuff. I rarely write reviews, good or bad, unless I feel strongly about something. I really wanted to like these. A boot hook at the bottom of the cuff. And thigh zipper vents. Nice weight and seemed like quality build. A great feature set for $80. But… sizing is bizarre. I’m 6’ and 215 lbs. My size 42 Levi jeans are getting too loose, time to move to 40. The size chart says XL is for 40” waist and XXL is 44”. I ordered XXL to allow room for layers. Wearing only a tight base layer, I could barely close the pants at the waist; hips and thighs were also tight. Bottom of pants fell to toes - at least 8-10” too long. That’s with the crotch so high my voice went up an octave. I could push the waist to low-rise to solve one problem, but then I would have the extra foot of length… Maybe if you are very thin, with very long legs, and like hip huggers? Or maybe the smaller sizes are better proportioned? ... show more

The product has not been used yet as it is a winter item. They look good and my son likes them. It will have to wait until winter and snowboarding season to determine if the pants can handle this activity.

I’m 6’1” 190lbs ordered a L. Fits perfect, high quality! Keep you warm! Went up to flagstaff with it and it did really well in the snow. I recommended this to anyone looking for a solid ski pant with a budget!
