    • Keeps my 16 month old entertained for a long time
My daughter's attention span is super short. She will play with this music book for 10-15 minutes, which is a long time! Then play with another toy, then back to the book again, all day long. Sometimes it's like her own personal radio playing music in the background while she is playing with something else. I work from home and I love toys that help my daughter entertain herself. The songs are long, not short sound bits like other sound books we have. And they modified familiar songs, which makes my daughter happy because she recognizes the tune even though the words are different. She lit up when she heard the shark ABCs, haha! I have yet to see the longevity of this book. I'll update my review if we ever have a problem. In the couple of weeks that we've used it, it seems well made, the illustrations are colorful, and the sound is good quality. My daughter and I are both very happy. Totally recommend! ... show more

As soon as I opened the package my 14 month old stopped what she was doing and ran over to grab this book in excitement... it was so cute! I usually have to introduce new toys by playing with her,... I do read to her everyday so she does love books, but the fascination with baby shark is simply on another level! What I love about this is that she’s able to independently “read”,.. I usually take great care of the books in her library and only give her full access to indestructibles, but I feel that this board book is made well and so fair so good! She loves sitting down pressing the music and flipping through her book!!! ... show more

Even clicking this review immediately put Baby Shark songs in my head. I should be angry and hate this product for that but how can I when my toddler loves it so much. He was already fond of the original song (included in the book, of course) and the other songs amused him as well. We gave this to him during the latter half of a long road trip and it was definite entertainment for a solid hour or more. The songs WILL get stuck in your head. It's all songs...the book is just the lyrics. There are Baby Shark takes on classics like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," "This Little Piggy," "BINGO" and more, with a random Christmas themed tune shoehorned in, but they are fun, the sound is good, and the book has held up for about a month through travel and plenty of wear and tear. ... show more

    • Perfect for the Baby Shark fan
We had no choice but to jump on the Baby Shark train- for reasons I can’t explain this is the one song that would calm our infant down immediately. His first birthday just passed and we bought him this book for that occasion. As annoying as the song has become due to the repetiveness of it in our house, this book is a slight breath of fresh air since, along with the original song, it has variations of the original song as well as some new shark songs. Each song has a section dedicated to it in the book and has the lyrics of each song printed out. Our one year old has no issue pushing the buttons to make the songs play. It is a board book but they are thin board pages and are prone to bending; our front cover page no longer lays flat. I recommend it for any baby shark fan and it makes a great gift. ... show more

    • Great book, plays full songs, just really LOUD.
My 17 month old really enjoys this book. It has nice thick pages and the buttons are easy to press. The pages associate the button to push to play the song which she’s too young for but I’m sure will she will get soon enough. It plays the full baby shark song. The others are short songs as well. I took away a star because it is so LOUD. When I sit with her and read it I have to cover the speaker with my hand because it’s too loud for me. I can’t imagine how it is for her little ears. I wish there was a volume button not just an on off. ... show more

Surprisingly great quality. Smooth and thick colorful pages. They really did not spare on production. One gripe is you can't control volume or stop the song mid-play, but it's a small price to pay for how long it keeps my 2.5 year old's attention. For Xmas we drove 13 hours to PA and it would keep him busy for around 2 hours at a time (this is extremely shocking, as my 2.5 year old is a rambunctious, active boy who loses interest easily). It has many songs and now he's learning all the words. Get it!! ... show more

First of all, the answer is yes, you do get the full Baby Shark song with one press of your little one's finger with this book. Depending on if that is press #1 or #201 likely depends on how much you will love that feature. With that said, my 15 month old LOVES this book. She quickly got the hang of pushing the buttons to hear the songs and it entertains her for minutes on end (which is a long time in Toddler time). Seriously, she'll sit with this book for a good 20-30 minutes listening to all the songs. Besides baby Shark, there are 9 other Shark themed hits that you will recognize Like "There was a yellow shark and shark was his name OH, S-H-A-R-K" (sang to the tune of There was a farmer who had a dog) and twinkle twinkle little shark. There is even a holiday remix of Baby Shark. Your kid will love this book. You will hate this book until you realize you got 20 minutes of peace, then you'll just sing along to Where is Daddy Shark and accept it. ... show more
