I needed a replacement bag for my beloved leather designer backpack that was stolen. I wanted one that had a zipper on the backside. After seeing two flight attendants with this bag, I asked how they liked them? They had each had their bag for two years and it was holding up strong. This review is for the large backpack not the smaller sizes. I don’t know what those will fit. It has two hidden zipper pockets on each side. The main compartment not accessible by the side zippers is quite large and roomy. It has great access as needed. Just be sure you zip up completely. I was able to fit my iPad, kindle, wallet, large makeup caddy, headphones, a book, socks, charger, pens and a small soup canister and had room to spare! Thankfully the bag is light itself so when I packed it full, it was not adding unreasonable weight. There are side pockets that you can tuck a water bottle, sunglasses, a small umbrella (yes I did that last week) or your phone (for a moment) in. The straps are like seatbelt material. Sturdy and will dry quickly. The main compartment zipper looks quality as does the construction of the bag. If traveling internationally I always recommend the money belt. However this bag helps deter any would be thieves and that is what I am looking for in a city. I’m tired of bringing a crossbody as well. I want one bag for my travels. I ordered a black bag. The other flight attendants had navy blue which looked great with their uniforms. I ordered my mom the brown and she likes how it looks. Price is amazing! ... show more

I bought this to use for a trip to the UK as I heard pickpocketing can be a real issue there. Forgive the pictures as I've had this for a few months now. Not only is this soft and beautiful (I got the leather) but it's easy to carry,convertible,and really protects your stuff ! The design does what it says to keep your stuff safe. I came back from my trip with no issues of theft. The main pocket isen't exposed and it keeps your goods safely out of sight under your back. There is multiple pockets for a phone, map,change,glasses earbuds etc When I tell you this is one of the best mini backpacks I owned ! Omg! This backpack bag just arrived today, very fast delivery, I might add. I love it! It looks better in person. The quality is very good —looks like a high end designer bag! I love that it is a large size without being too bulky. The zipper faces my back when worn which is the reason I ordered it for better safety while traveling. It has two secret zip compartments on the sides. The back unzips to the large compartment and will hold a lot! I can’t believe I got this backpack at such an incredible price! I really love this bag. Really cute, easy to carry, lightweight, nice capacity, and water resistant. A little tricky getting into some of the compartments, but no biggie. It did really well on a recent trip out of the country. But there was one very disappointing aspect. One of the two zippers on the main compartment disconnected, so now only one zipper can open and close it. I’m a little worried it might disconnect too, and then the bag will be useless. It happened pretty easily. Since I missed the short return window, I will live with it as is, but the zipper does seem a bit weak and could use a better option. I LOVE this bag. I just got back from a European holiday and this was the perfect bag for the trip. Sturdy, lightweight, pretty with so many places to hold things. I use to be a tote bag person but no longer - this bag is so much better than a tote. Makes finding things a breeze. Do not hesitate to buy this bag. I just received this bag, and I'm so impressed I had to leave a review. It really is a nice looking bag, and the size is perfect. Just enough for all your everyday essentials, and maybe even some more. The quality of the bag seems good, the zippers all look well made and work great. The hidden zipper side pockets will be great to throw those items in you want to quickly access, like phone and keys. I didn't think I'd like the fluffy little attached keychain, but it's actually cute, not too much fluff and just adds a little extra style. It doesn't bother me, but as some other reviews mentioned it may be made of real fur so take note if that's a concern. Also, as others mentioned it was a nice added touch that it showed up with a scented sachet and smelled good, not that funky smell like some new bags can sometimes have. The only con I can see is that with the straps in the back, it does add a little difficulty in accessing the main compartment. But to me, that's worth it for the added security of the main pocket being against your back, and the ability to use as a backpack. Also, the side 'water bottle' type compartments don't fit any of my aluminum bottles. But those are just small inconveniences, it doesn't make me love this bag any less. I can't speak to the durability of this as I just received it, but it does appear to be well made and I don't have any concerns about it. I'll be using it on an upcoming vacation and will be great for switching between using as a backpack and then a purse when you don't want to look so touristy with a backpack. If it holds up well I'll probably order again in another color I love it so much. Added 6/30: I just wanted to add that after a 10 day vacation to the Smoky Mountains I still LOVE this bag! It held up great, even used it on a few small hikes and was perfect for carrying just what I needed to keep with me. I loved the fact that the main compartment is against my back so didn’t have to worry about theft in the tourist areas. Also, I wanted to add that this bag is definitely waterproof. It rained on us just about everyday and nothing in my bag got wet at all!! Even in a few heavy downpours! UPDATE 5/23/19 -- I came back to look at this bag again to consider purchasing in another color and was surprised to see all the reviews! When I first bought it there weren't many reviews and now there are a thousand plus! I wanted to come back and add that almost a year later and I am STILL using this bag every single day and it's held up great! I'm talking a full school year of carpooling my kid all over town and being tossed into and out of the car constantly (the bag, not my kid). There are days I know I'll be at school volunteering all day so I carry my full heavy yeti bottle plus all my essentials and it still holds up. I mean I'm practically beating this thing up to give myself a reason to purchase a new one and it's still going! Not even one single small tear or fray or malfunctioning zipper. I'm usually the type that changes purses every couple weeks or so but I still love this bag so much it's been the only one I've used all year! ... show more
