As some others had mentioned, the leg strap is extremely long, even for someone with huge quads. However that's not a deal-breaker for me and if I wanted to I could trim it and move the ring. I would rather it be too long than too short. Nice and small for a cramped cockpit in my school's LSA, I used 3x5 cards since they're more stiff and that works perfectly. ... show more

Yep. Just another example of shoddy typos and accessory that doesn't work. Oh well...cheap. I'm going to modify strap. It also only came w one strap...one loooooooong, dumb strap.

1st, I missed the fact the elastic straps are like most competitors, elastic. (Yeah, sounds stupid, and I admit my reading comprehension was blunted after looking at multiple competitors.) But. Over time elastic straps lose their guts and get sloppy. 2nd, these straps must be run through a plastic buckle then doubled over themselves for the hook/loop fastener to grip. This is an improvement over metal2metal buckles like some "high-priced spreads" trumpet as though it's a good thing. A friend of mine was trapped in a sinking aircraft after ditching because he couldn't release the metal2metal buckle on his kneeboard. He finally found his parachute shroud cutter switchblade and made it out or he'd have been in the Atlantic depths and we would never have known why. So. This would be a MUCH better product if it were an inch narrower (better to clear a control stick, not important for yoke fliers) and had a simple circle of 2" wide hook/loop tape that would not degrade like elastic straps and that overlapped itself just once, not through a buckle, so it would break free easier in an emergency egress. 3rd, the pen/pencil holder is a joke. One must look down to find the hole to stick it in, flat and sideways. A large diameter loose spring on the top edge would allow stowing a pen/pencil without looking away from traffic scan. ... show more

This is how I received this. It was completely bent and one of the metal loops for the strap was ripped open. This is complete garbage. The metal is so thin it will likely bend if you look at it wrong. Also the strap is nearly 3 feet long. I'm a bog guy and the strap is way to big. This is like a sumo size strap, or maybe for an elephant. ... show more
