The pic on Amazon actually matches the shade! The quality is phenomenal! I had the big purple bucket bag in my cart for months but was afraid it would be too big and not the shade i was looking for. That purple is slightly lighter i think than this purple bag! But this one, oooh baby. Perfect size as a crossbody and I will use year round! The beautiful goldtone hardware makes bag stand out. Quality of handle and threading stitches look sturdy and secure. This bag is giving Brahmin a run for their money! If you want a quality bag w/o the price commitment of a Brahmin, I say this one is the way to go!!! I want the green bag too and and the purple or black backpack!!! Would like to see a smaller matching wallet or coin purse, for this bag. Or a matching iPhone case/wallet, or even wristlet for this bag. Shipping was fast too....thank you. I needed this pick me up of a bag! And with Spring around the corner, I would like to see these glazed leather bags in some yellows, aquas and teals, bright red and the amazing color of royal blue!     • Nice little handbag but not a Brahmin

I have, in my 73 years of living, owned many purses, handbags, clutches and shoulder bags. Currently I have 7 Brahmin bags, all of which I use and love. Recently I have tired of shoulder bags and have moved to clutches, but, after watching a 1940's movie, thought a small handled handbag might be fun. This Pijuishi bag caught my eye and after reading the measurements I thought it might be the ticket. The price was excellent and certainly the description fit my requirements. This is a nice handbag. I bought the black bag and its not only nice to look at but also the described measurements are exact. I will be using this for dressy occasions; church, dinners out etc. But, after brief use I have already found a couple "irritations" with this product. 1. The latch takes two hands to open. After some consideration this might not be all bad. Certainly it's a deterrent for someone trying to slip fingers into my bag but on the other hand it means I have to hold the bag and use my 2nd hand to actually manipulate the latch open. 2. Upon opening the bag a zipper completely seals off the interior. Again, for safety sake this is a nice feature but I have found that the end of the zipper apparatus must be tucked back inside before closing the flap and re-latching. Every time, after going into the interior of the bag and then zipping closed, this end must be pushed back inside, otherwise it flips out and a zipper tail is seen. Ugh! 3. The interior is surprisingly roomy. There is a zippered compartment and a nice sized pocket. The interior is clothe. There is also a shoulder strap which comes with the purse if one wishes to use it as a shoulder bag. 4. The purse has 4 small "leg stands" on the bottom. Nice. This means the purse itself will not sit flat on a dirty surface but rather will be buffered by these small metal legs. Note....this may mean scratches on furniture surfaces. I've had legs on purses before and found that after setting the purse onto the same surface of furniture multiple times I was marking that surface. This looks just like a Brahmin bag but is not. and there are subtle differences. I will compliment the designer on how well made the product is. Again, this is a nice bag but I couldn't give it 5 stars. ... show more

I wasn’t expecting to like this purse that much upon arrival but it has exceeded my expectations for a purse from unknown brand from Amazon. It is well made, really nice leather. Has an adjustable leather strap, little feet to protect the bottom. Looks way more expensive than it cost. I got it in black and it’s a classic well structured no obnoxious label on it bag, that I’ll use for evenings out or church. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I absolutely love this pocketbook! This is my first purchase from Pijushi and I am amazed by the quality of the leather and its craftsmanship. I have been a long time fan of a well-recognized brand, renown for this Italian technique for faithfully recreating crocodile skin, and my new Pijushi piece looks stunning next to my similarly designed handbags. The color is an amazing natural hue; the interior neatly lined with a pistachio colored suede; the exterior has nice hardware, and the texture rich. The smaller size of the classic saddle bag makes it surprisingly sophisticated. I can't wait for my next purchase. With the summer approaching, I would appreciate seeing a version of this handbag in a shade of cool white. ... show more

I bought this bag based on reviews that say it compares to Brahmin. it does not. It lacks the sheen of Brahmin bags and just feels like what it is. A knock-off. I sadly returned a beautiful Brahmin bag because the zipper annoyed me. I tried this one but it is going back.
