The media could not be loaded. This first thing to do when you get this is put in three AA batteries in the bottom of it. Batteries not included. After doing that, then press the default password which is 0000. That will open the vault. When you press the four zeroes, it will make a sound for each button pushed. Then after it opens, make sure it closes tightly. The piece of paper that comes with it will show you how to change the password. I love the different songs it plays every time you put dollars through the slot. My kids beg me for dollars now just to hear the music play. I guess I like hearing it too, so to help them save, I give them a dollar hear and there. I'm pretty happy with this and I'm sure your kids will be happy too. ... show more

I got this as a funny gift for my little girl. She really is smart, pretty, and just as rough. Well, she made a poor decision to take $100 bill out of my wallet and use at school on break. Well, school quickly notified me and, of course, she got into a world of trouble with me. She took her hard lesson and learned from it. We all made poor decisions in the past. It's just up to us how we learn and grow from them. When she got this bank, I told her it was for only stolen $100 dollar bills. She uses the little bank, but not for anything stolen. She's in second grade, but I wanted to make a big deal out of this so she will learn from it. The Bank itself is not made as well as I hoped, but it's a toy. As the direction state the code to get into it for the first time is 0000. It's an excellent tool to teach young kids. Teach them to save and work for the things they want and hard work pays off. This was one of the cutest ideas ever! Now if only it worked long enough to save up money. I think it lasted for about 2 hours. My niece went around to everyone here at our Christmas party, and everyone put their dollar or whatever they had in her new piggy bank and by the 3rd to the last person, it just broke. The money got stuck going in so she opened it and I was helping, I go to shut it and it wont close. It just broke. And it was so darn cute. My niece actually cried, but I mean it would be so amazing if it hadn’t. That’s why I only gave it this many stars… So if you don’t want ur little one crying cause it broke, I don’t think I would buy it. Maybe it was just this one I got? I dunno? ... show more

This is an adorable bank. It gives kids control of their own money, and they can lock their siblings out. It does require batteries, take note! However, it is all plastic- I honestly don’t think it will last long, especially if a kid forgets their passcode and wants their money out. The instructions tell how to reset it, but I can see my daughter not asking for help and just smacking it on the ground, and the plastic seems like it will crack easily. I’m going to be sure to reinforce the ‘ask for help’ thing, but if you have an independent child that is also forgetful, im not sure how long this will last. Overall though, I think it’s adorable and a fun starter bank/safe. **update: my daughter forgot her passcode and the bigger kids helped her pry it open with a screwdriver. This thing is DURABLE! She loves putting dollars in it and the music it plays. I love the the passcode feature on it which it pretty cool. This little kids bank is definitely very cool! It has a few features & settings. It has a money checker light on the front. It sings a few songs everytime something is inserted into it. Once it detects paper money it immediately starts to automatically pull it in the rest of the way. The inside of the Machine is COMPLETELY OPEN, so it holds A LOT. You can fill the entire unit with money if you wanted. BUT, if you open it... unfortunately it will all fall out. We are going to put a tall little box in there to prevent that from happening. Now it's not the most sturdy peice of plastic around but it does the job. Its definitely not meant to be dropped or played around with "roughly". So I wouldn't Reccomend THAT. Overall its definitely a very cool & fun toy that kids or even adults can store money in! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with kids! ... show more
