This mold works perfectly! I use it at least 4 times a week with epoxy resin and I have never had a problem getting the elephants out, even the little ones. The mold has the right amount of flexibility to allow you to pop the elephants out without tearing the mold. I will say that I do have some issues with air bubbles in the tail and tusks BUT a toothpick works great to pop them and help the epoxy reach every corner.     • Thick but there are ways around that
Amazing molds. But there is a few things to note. Firstly, Size: these come out 3 inches for the large and 1.5 inches for the smalls. Perfect for keychains in my opinion. Secondly, thickness: these bears are thick! That being said, your normal 1/4" (8mm I believe) jump rings are far too small, they will not close. So you have 2 options, i personally use both: 1. Fill the bears all the way for a thick heavier (more opaque depending on what you use) keychain bear, but buy 1/2" jump rings. They go around it perfectly. 2. Only fill the bear HALF WAY, it will still be durable and not flimsy and use less product, then you can use a normal (1/4") jump ring. Either way works great, But keep in mind when you fill a mold with epoxy(full or 1/2 full, but more so with half full) it has a tendency to come up on edges and "dip" in the center. When you do the half full method, I usually remove the mold about 12 hours in, and snip with scissors the really raised edges(usually just the tiny feet tips) then take a little sand paper to smooth it out across the road back. So half of me wishes they were a smidge thinner and half of me likes the option to be it either way. ... show more

I'm new to silicone molds but after a few tries I feel I got this. Be careful with the legs as they are easy to break but once I did a few I figured it out and they came out beautifully.
